All Blacks (20) 32 / Springboks (3) 12 (Final Score)
The All Blacks hosted the Springboks in Auckland, New Zealand at 09:35 SA Time. This is the match thread for discussion of the game. The match was broadcast live on SuperSport 1 on DSTV in SA.
The All Blacks comprehensively outplayed the Springboks and dominated all facets of play, even the lineouts and scored 4 tries to none.
The All Blacks won 32 / 12, a full 20-point margin seperating the sides.
Defensively the Springboks were found wanting on the outside channels and also allowing the All Blacks to speed up the game and run with their dangerous back three with great effect.
On the ground Read, McCaw and Kaino were masterful and Kevin Mealamu had a sterling game at hooker.
Back to the drawing board for the Springboks but some players still emerge with credibility, Zane Kirchner, Schalk Burger and Jaque Fourie.

Net gou ingeloer …
Kom Bokke, wys karakter !!!
I would also bring Ruan on at scrummie and replace Bakkies with Danie Pakslae…. and Gio on the right wing in place of Jean… if Jean is weak on defence then moving him to centre will only compound it.
@ grootblousmile:
Mate, do you remember me saying this some weeks ago? You don’t keep a pure bred in the barn while putting a plodder in his spot. Why do coaches play with the wing position? Only a winger can play on the wing!!!!!!!!!!!! Fast twitch fibre can only be opposed by another fast twitch.
Bring on Aplon and let’s watch him shine, if the opprtunity arises.

not necessary to play running rugby as we’ll be playing into their hands

Exactly !!
Penalty Bokke, on about the NZ 10m line…. kickable but reasonable difficult.
NZ 20 / 6
Muliaina, Jane & Rococoko dangerous.. very freegin dangerous.
Guthro looks fat , is he RJ room mate
I would like a Bokke maul from this lineout…. and they do it and fluck it up.
Lineout again….
i vaguely remember a game between the aussies and ab a few years ago where ALL the points were scored at one end of the field. cant remember the exact score or where the game was played, but i do remember the all blacks went into halftime having scored all the points. in the 2nd half the aussies came back and they then scored all the points. think the all blacks in the end just managed to hang in there for the win
reason for mentioning it here?
hmmmm, whats the odds that the same thing might happen again?
Bokke 7m out… penalty Bokke, NZ offside… easy kick
NZ 20 / 9
Lyk al beter, hou so aan. Nou ‘n drie, dan is ons terug.
Kirchner doing bloody well again…. mooi man!
Bokke looking miles better now, forwards fronting up better and playing more as a unit.
Missed long range drop by Morne after a loopy pass from Schalla
Massive hit on Habana

looking like the boks again!!
miskien het pdv vir hulle elkeen ñ drukkie gegee met halftime? 😉
AB tackles bloody good , other team would have crumbled by now
Excellent touch finder by Morne
Bekker on for Bakkies, Rossouw on for Louw
daai skoppie van cowan sou mens seker kon beskryf as ñ p**s skoppie?
Weepu set to come on….. not yet though?
Weereens mis die ref dat Zane vasgehou word. Ek sien dit hier vanuit SA, hoe kan die ref dit nie daar naby raaksien nie ? 😉
all blacks gaan vou!!
mark my words!!
AB’s running from all over… and dangerous in doing so
