All Blacks (20) 32 / Springboks (3) 12 (Final Score)
The All Blacks hosted the Springboks in Auckland, New Zealand at 09:35 SA Time. This is the match thread for discussion of the game. The match was broadcast live on SuperSport 1 on DSTV in SA.
The All Blacks comprehensively outplayed the Springboks and dominated all facets of play, even the lineouts and scored 4 tries to none.
The All Blacks won 32 / 12, a full 20-point margin seperating the sides.
Defensively the Springboks were found wanting on the outside channels and also allowing the All Blacks to speed up the game and run with their dangerous back three with great effect.
On the ground Read, McCaw and Kaino were masterful and Kevin Mealamu had a sterling game at hooker.
Back to the drawing board for the Springboks but some players still emerge with credibility, Zane Kirchner, Schalk Burger and Jaque Fourie.

Replay of Bulls game now on SS1
Bulls 1st try made by deft pass from Jaco vd Westhuisen.
2nd try by good service from scrummie, Ruan Snyman. I liked his play last night. Bulls not only a lock factory but also a no 9 factory.
hello manne en sterkte bokke
The Clash of Rugby’s Titans . . .
Best wishes to both sets of fans; these teams are the best in the world at present, without question; they both possess raw power, talent and commitment. Can’t wait for the game to start. Every rugby fan will relish this tussle, from start to finish. My tip for the Tri Nations is the Springboks – after both home and away matches it’s going to be daylight second! IMO.
Verdwaalde toeris stop langs pad. Gatiep sit onder boom en draadtrek.
Toeris vra: Is this Putsonderwater?
Gatiep sê: Nei, dis spyker sonder partner!

@ Old Griquas 14 in Sydney:3 – OldG. Morning to you mate. Thanks for that post. Just lifted my spirits for this game. Don’t underestimate your Wallabies either they will be ready for us when we arrive there. 3 best countries in world rugby at the moment is the Tri-Nation countries.
@ Ashley:4 – Morning Ash, Hope you keeping well buddy.
Van der Merwe was watching a rugby test against the British Lions at Loftus Versfeld stadium in Pretoria. In the packed stadium, there was only one empty seat – next to Van der Merwe.
“Who does that seat belong to?” asked his neighbour.
“It’s for my wife.”
“But why isn’t she here?”
“She died.”
“So why didn’t you give the ticket to one of your friends?”
“They’ve all gone to the funeral.”
More sakkies!!!!!
Snow White returned to the cottage to find it had burned down. Distraught, she searches for the dwarfs in the forest and hears a lone voice chanting, “Wales for the World Cup, Wales for the World Cup, Wales for the World Cup.” On hearing this, Snow White gave a little sigh of relief as she knew that at least Dopey was safe.
@ Puma:
Hey Puma, long time no see? Are you now happily domiciled at Umhlanga Rocks?
Thank you for your kind comments re the Wallabies, but I don’t think Robbie Deans has been able to get our best on the training paddock yet, due to injuries, so I don’t expect any favourable results coming our way just yet. The youth policy is a good one, but I don’t expect it to pay dividends until next season. Never mind, we’ll be in there having a go and giving our best.
What an exciting match-up tonight. Boks are taking our game to a new level, so every opposition needs to play out of their skin or be bulldozed out of the way . . .
More almal, wie speel ? 😉
