All Blacks (13) 31 / Springboks (7) 17 (Final Score)
The All Blacks hosted the Springboks at 09:35 SA Time in Wellington, New Zealand for the 2nd Tri-Nations Test. This is the match thread for discussion of the game. The Game was broadcast live on SuperSport 1 on DSTV in SA.
For the 2nd weekend in a row the All Blacks score 4 tries against the Springboks to earn a bonus point.
This time the All Blacks win by 31 / 17, a 14 point margin.
Lots of complaints about they way the referee handled the game, but let’s be honest, the All Blacks were the better team on the day again.
Let’s hope Ruan Pienaar now gets a starting berth against the Wallabies and BJ Botha plays at tight head prop. Let’s also hope the National Coach realises that Jean de Villiers is not a right wing.

Game over
NZ 31 / 17
Time to walk the dogs and eat HOT chilli washed down with Jack Black beer.
Dick muir must fall on his sword , how thick can a man be
Well done All Blacks a well deserved win. Boks were out played out thought totally. One word we were rubbish. Even if we had a useless ref a decent ref would not have helped us that much. We were beaten by a far better and coached team.
Now you can understand the feeling what it is like to support England in Rugby and Football!!!
@ Loosehead:
Chilli and beer!! Is this wise? 😯
Ok all, cheers.
I am going to start mowing the lawn and have a few cold ones….
Go well people.
@ Puma:
100%.
I will leave you my Bokke supporting mates to lick your wounds…..
Have a better day..!!
@ Blue Bird:217 – BB… 😀
Though with our Boks we expect to win most of the time. That is one game where we normally good at. This hurts really we are better than that. Need better coaching better selections too. Bad selections will cost us.
Your cricket team done well against the Aussies in the odi’s Have not watched just looked at the score. Was watching the world cup mostly then.
@ Blue Bird:
My poor wife 😆
@ Puma:
Puma really, do you really feel we were outplayed. Hell i see it different, yes they were good. Listen to the studio comments now on.
@ Pietman:219 – Cheers Piet, Nice to see you back here. Don’t over do it with the lawn mowing…..hehehe. Enjoy the cold ones.
Despite the referee, the All Blacks were better today, read my short game summary above in the Article.
Darren tell them
Darren Scott is as pissed off with the ref as SuperBul…. hehehehe
@ grootblousmile:
luister jy wat se hulle oor die game?
229@ superBul:
Ek luister, maar die Blacks was beter as die Bokke!
Ons MOET aanpas by die ref, ons moet… daar’s nie ander salf te smeer nie!
But that is exactly my point, i wish i can get a transcrip of his words. He was farken bad , bad , bad
GBS jy het nie geluister nie my maat. Jy pas nie aan by die ref nie die ref blaas die flippen reels reg. Wanner hou jy op aanpas.
Laat ek loop en in die tuin gaan werk netnou se ek iets wat kon bly.
Super, so tell me this ‘mettie helmet gebore’ visionary thing – must be heriditary, hey? 😉 Seriously though I have no beef with you, Super. We look at the game differently and long may it remain so.
Bokke bad dicipline, and a clear weakness on the ground-ball contest was our biggest problems.. add to that Ricky and Jean’s play… and the foundation for a loss was cemented.
Hear JS now moaning about the 10 min Danie was off, what about the 30 minutes he was no-where in the bloody game.
@ grootblousmile:Two of the problems I highlighted during the week!!!
We deserved to get a klap…if the All Blacks maintain this form, they will be bloody hard to beat at our best.
We can be glad Dan Carter’s kicking was off today, only 3 from 8….
@ fender:
OK deal , we asses the news articles that follows and see how the rest of the world sees it. My opinion was made
236@ 4man:
Just look at my Preview Thread… all my fears came true…
We were better in the lineouts and scrums today though.
@ Pietman:I cut the lawn yesterday….I think I will go and look for sh!t somewhere….I actually cant stand it when we lose.
