All Blacks (13) 31 / Springboks (7) 17 (Final Score)
The All Blacks hosted the Springboks at 09:35 SA Time in Wellington, New Zealand for the 2nd Tri-Nations Test. This is the match thread for discussion of the game. The Game was broadcast live on SuperSport 1 on DSTV in SA.
For the 2nd weekend in a row the All Blacks score 4 tries against the Springboks to earn a bonus point.
This time the All Blacks win by 31 / 17, a 14 point margin.
Lots of complaints about they way the referee handled the game, but let’s be honest, the All Blacks were the better team on the day again.
Let’s hope Ruan Pienaar now gets a starting berth against the Wallabies and BJ Botha plays at tight head prop. Let’s also hope the National Coach realises that Jean de Villiers is not a right wing.

Nou kak ons weer ernstig… flok
Faaaark!
End vannie prent nou…..
NZ 28 / 10
Our defence there was shameful. Ran right through Spies, Burger and Zane. Just not good enough.
Coaches and some players need to be dropped. This is really a shambles.
Going to watch the Open now. Not worth watching this totall rubbish by our players and a really useless ref. Not that it would have helped us if we had a decent ref. Our team is just not up to it. Totally out of our depth. Shame as we had such a good S14.
Get rid of these useless coaches.
Back later. Go Oosthuizen in the golf.
@ Puma:Defence is mostly about attitude.
Penalty NZ for a slap down by Ruan….
NZ already has their bonus point, now they’ll drive the nails in.
Very sad day
what a fekking embarrassment….

A rout again
Tri Nations was won right here today or was it gifted by the Boks
NZ rucks us right away from the ball.
They are a class outfit
Loosehead, enjoy the meal broer. Look, I have no problem with criticising the ref. But if after 15 minutes of very kak play by the Boks, your first option is to bitch about the ref, then I do have a problem and will express it.
Having said that Roland’s management of the AB in the second half has been almost as poor as the Boks’ general play. AB’s shouldve had a yellow by now.
@ Puma:Meant total there.
@ Loosehead:187 – Loosehead we just don’t have any of it. Zip nothing. Looks like men against schoolboys out there. Very embarrassed to watch our Boks. How did this happen? In the S14 we dominated put the players together with these 3 coaches and we play like schoolboys.
@ bos_otter:
Indeed.
Tryyyyyyyyyy Schallaaaaaaaa
At least SOME pride salvaged
@ fender:194 – Fender ABs should have had 2 yellows in this game. Also hope Ranger gets cited for that shoulder charge on Zane. Almost knocked him out there. A shoulder charge is a straight up yellow he just warned him. Also just warned McCaw. It is a farce. Really don’t want to go on about the ref but he is useless. Though even with a decent ref we would have lost. Boks are playing rubbish totally rubbish. We have been outclassed by the ABs totally.
@ fender:
Thanks, but please check the timeing, I only started well into the 2nd 1/2.

@ grootblousmile:
Phew, at last some good news …
@ fender:
thats the difference mate i saw right there what is panning out. It took you 15 others to convince you. Really i dont alway shout my mouth off but you could see the attitude of the ref right from the start. Richy WILL never get a card from this guy , never
@ grootblousmile:197 – A bit too late.
Now that they decided to run the ball, they are scoring tries. We have been found out with the kick and chase game…might still work against some team, but all teams will look at this and make us pay if we stick with this style of play
Puma:
Ditto, about Gold and Muir. Flippin useless those two.
Think Ruan was a good change
Ruan brings more to the game than Ricky, that’s for sure
@ Pietman:205 – Piet for sure boet. Those two coaches should be dropped right now. Bring in Proudfoot for forwards coach and Rossouw from the Bulls for backline coach.
So, with a minute to go we’re 14 behind…
@ grootblousmile:Gbs, He does and HAS to start next week. How we miss FdP. Jeepers hope he gets 100% better for the eoyt. Otherwise we HAVE to play Ruan at scrummie while FdP is getting over his op.
