All Blacks (13) 31 / Springboks (7) 17 (Final Score)
The All Blacks hosted the Springboks at 09:35 SA Time in Wellington, New Zealand for the 2nd Tri-Nations Test. This is the match thread for discussion of the game. The Game was broadcast live on SuperSport 1 on DSTV in SA.
For the 2nd weekend in a row the All Blacks score 4 tries against the Springboks to earn a bonus point.
This time the All Blacks win by 31 / 17, a 14 point margin.
Lots of complaints about they way the referee handled the game, but let’s be honest, the All Blacks were the better team on the day again.
Let’s hope Ruan Pienaar now gets a starting berth against the Wallabies and BJ Botha plays at tight head prop. Let’s also hope the National Coach realises that Jean de Villiers is not a right wing.

Penalty NZ, kickable again
Crucial for a bok come back that they are next to score, penalty will do for a starter . . . Can’t let the ABs get too far ahead early in the 2nd half.
Weepu going for posts, not Carter.
Over
NZ 21 / 10
Ek is nie bang om my se te se nie en ek belowe julle hierdie ref is poor.
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES Ruan on at 9!
Gio fumbling a bit
Bekker on for Rossouw, Ruan on for Ricky.
Far too much possession for NZ
Ruan kicks directly out… eishhhhhh
Super, hoeko se jy nie liewers vi ons wa die Bokke kan verbeter nie?
Much better continuity now by Bokke
@ superBul:
Bedoel jy nie, die ref is kak?
Much better there by the Boks. What a difference with Ruan on at scrummie. OPEN your eyes PdV. Ruan must start next week.
Morning All….
I don’t like this scoreline…
Has anyone got a link btw? Although why I want to see the Bokkes get beaten is beyone me!!
Beyond even!
@ fender:
I never bitch about the ref, but here I agree with superBul.
Granted the Boks are pretty average and the NZers are good.
I am going for lunch at Thai Rak Sa later.
ANOTHER official warning?
Aplon just short, now Spies just short…. penalty Bokke, maybe yellow for NZ… fark, only a warning
@ Blue Bird:164 – Morning BB, Boks have not played well. Also the reffing is terrible. The weather too. Mostly we have not played well, ABs just too good for us again today.
Selection is costing us too. Need to start with the right players.
FARK!
NZ steals it…. golden chance gone
We need a converted try, badly!
@ superBul:
Ek stem, die ref is genuine kuk hoor!
@ grootblousmile:168 – This ref is not fair at all gbs, rubbish actually. If that was the Boks no warning we would be in the bin.
Cowan on for Weepu, Sam Whitlock on, Dagg on for Ranger
@ fender:
@ Puma:
That would explain why everyone is so grumpy and only you have said hello to me!! 😆
So, the Ref is dodgy… we just have to be better and better…..
Try Israel Dagg
@ Pietman:
Hallo Pietman, jy sien ek en baie ander hier weet dit maar van laasweek het fender hierdie behoefte om ons oor die ref aan te vat.
Game over, another hiding.
