Bulls scrumhalf Heini Adams has agreed to join French second division club Bordeaux-Bègles. The 30-year-old toured with the Springboks at the end of 2009 and will now look to further his career in France. Having spent several seasons as back-up for Fourie du Preez at the Bulls, Adams will no doubt be eager for some game time as the first choice scrumhalf. After finishing ninth last season, Bordeaux will be grateful to have secured the services of the talented No.9, who finishes his time at the Bulls as a Super 14 winner.
With Francois Hougaard at the Bulls and young Snyman coming through nicely from the Vodacom Cup ranks, the Bulls won’t feel this loss.
Heini Adams has been out of sorts as well, as could clearly be seen in the Bulls B match against the Stormers, a few weeks ago. He was in terrible form then.
Heini, go well, you’ve served the Bulls well.
Yep he has being struggling to get back to form after his various leg injuries. before he got injured he was a brilliant player
