As a handy alternative travel arrangement, why not take the train to Orlando in Soweto for the Super 14 Final?
Here are the Official arrangements…
The Blue Bulls Company (Pty) Ltd would like to announce the following information with regards to the trains.
Supporters must please be at the train stations 30 minutes before departure.
Trains will be departing from Pretoria Station (12:05) and will stop at the following stations:
Centurion: 12:14
Kempton Park: 12:40
Johannesburg: 13:13
Mlamalankuzi: 13:33 (final stop)
It will be a 10 minute walk to the Orlando Stadium. Trains will start departing as they fill up after the game. The cost will be R 50 per ticket. Tickets will be available from Computicket on Wednesday, 26 May 2010. Cut off will be Thursday, 27 May @ 16:00.
Please note that no personal belongings can be left on the trains. Limited parking available at the stations and supporters are encouraged to get dropped off at the stations, due to limited parking.
Travel duration from Pretoria to the stadium: 90 min.
Not a bad option really…. guaranteed to rock up on time… no roadworks, no parking queue’s near or in Soweto….
