4 – Tripps, How are you? Did the op go well? Howcome you typing? Have you got a carpal brace on? Or bandaged up? Have had a few mates that had that op. Came from playing too much golf. Working on the pc makes it worse. You should be resting it.

6 Hi Puma, no have to work, am the breadwinner and get payed hourly rate so no work no pay!!! At least I was off for 4 days!!!!! Must tell you that it is a hectic op and the pain is indescribable, also takes long to heal, Doc said nerves can take months before they are better and I had both hands done at the same time!!!! Not clever at all hahaha

7 – Both hands? Jeepers, you will struggle with work. Though one of my mates had both hands done and said it was better just to get it done and over with.

One think (YOU MUST NOT GET IT WET) Remember that otherwise infection can set in. NOT WET for the first 12 days. So cover it with plastic bag or something when you wash.

There is now lazar op for that, much faster and quicker. Just a small incision smaller than a pea. They go through the top of the hand and push through the carpal tunnel and out the front near your fingers. That only takes about 15 days to heal. So I have heard. The op where they cut you takes longer. You might need a bit of physio to get the nerves working there. Plenty of my golf mates had got it. Also know bike riders get it plenty too. I do know typing can also cause it. Caused by bending the hand over too. Also your right or left hand you use with the mouse. That one can become worse.

The good news is you probably wont get it again.

At least you home for the semi and can relax and watch that.

gbs, Thanks and do hope I get the rugby. If I can will post something from there the next day after the game. I am not taking my lap top or blackberry. They have a pc room but really don’t want to be on holiday blogging…hehe. I do enough of that while I work here as you can see….hahaha.
