blouste @ 12
nee dié keer is ek voorbereid!! gaan nie daai final vir enigiets mis nie, bru (mag dalk agterna wens dat ek dit wel gemis het, lol). anyway dit gaan ñ helse game wees!!
Gbs, based on what FIFA found out the hard way i.e. that the average SA soccer fan prefers to buy tickets over the counter at venue close to home, is the BBC serious about spreading the game to the citzens of Soweto with this ticket arrangement?
@ Durban Bulle:
He he he Durban, ek joke net boeta.
Sterkte met die kaartjies…daar is maniere 😐
Wie is die werfetter wat jou so gedrop het ? Dit maak mens de moer in 👿
14@ Durban Bulle:
hmmmmmmm, gebeur as mens jou sleg gedra!! 😆
@ fender:
In all fairness from what I understand the logistics surroundng the move etc. etc. were so huge to handle, and created a hell of a lot of extra work and organising, that I think the easiest ways were looked at.
Simple as that.
@ fender:
Sorry as ek uit my plek uit antwoord ,sien die vraag is eintlik aan gbs.
19@ fender:
Kitaarsnaar… an answer from me would be mere speculation, so let me rather say what I feel is the right attitude…
The BBC has a 1st obligation towards it’s regular supporters, who have stuck with them for years, therefore the fact that season ticket holders get first bite at the cherry, therefor the laborious and elaborate attempts to get the Park and Ride facilities organised at SuperSport Park Centurion and at Nasrec.
This leads to the fact that traditional Bulls fans will be there in numbers…
But at the same time these Traditional Bulls fans and the wonderful people from Soweto interact… and mutual acceptance and the building of bonds happen, the eyes open to the fact that we can go watch sport elsewhere with ease and without fear.
Last Saturday at Orlando there were a number of Bulls fans from Soweto itself, they brought their Vuvuzelas, they enhanced the atmosphere…. outside, the Rainbow nation partied together…
In the long run Computicket might not be the answer to entice more people from Soweto to rugby games… but realistically, what was the alternative for these 2 games?
The fact is, it worked beautifully last week… and this week will be no different…
@ grootblousmile:
Did you get that pics I’ve mailed you? 😆
25@ Blouste:
Jaaaaaaaa, thanks…. sit nou juis gou met my kamera en goed om te sien wat ek afgeneem het… dan wil ek ‘n thread opsit met die klomp foto’s
thanks gbs het jou nou ge-mail
jy se my blouste…sal hom sien sat by die final dan praat ons n bietjie….lol
@ Durban Bulle:
😆
GBS and Blouste, thanks for the response.
I fully realise that you can’t speak on behalf of the BBC and consequently, I never expected that you should. I also have no problem with favouring the season ticket holders.
Furthermore, if you knew me well, you’d understand how close nationbuilding is to my heart. As a consequence, the BBC have really impressed me with the manner in which they have gone about embracing and supporting Bafana and the Fortress Orlando concept. Good on ’em!
But, they’ve missed a trick here imho and on these apparent small things like a ticket counter somewhere close to their potential Soweto supporters, the BBC’s best intentions are tested and will either rise or fall.
Ons lees tot sover…….
