The Stormers won the encounter by 38 / 10 and earned a bonus point in the process, elevating them to No 2 on the Log and also earning them a Home semi-final.
It was clear that the many changes the Bulls made, fielding a B-side made their cohesion less whereas the Stormers appeared to be a well oiled machine.
The Bulls B-side was not disgraced though and showed better form than at least 2 or 3 of the Super 14 teams who occupy the 12th, 13th and 14th spots on the Log.

130 – Sharky, Those Saders looked brilliant yesterday. I thought they would have been showing signs of tired players. Not the case they played awesome. Going to be a battle next week for sure. One thing we know is the Bulls players will not be injured. Will they have lost momentum? Maybe. They should have had some of their top players on the bench to play for about 30min or so. Not bring in just about the whole Vodacom team.

148 – 4man, Yip we did. Think we should have started with the team that we did against the Stormers from the start. Might have been different now. Then we lost 4 games so close by getting the bonus losing point, but we did get some really very bad reffing calls in those games that had it gone our way we could have made the semi.
Anyhow our season is over. At least our Boks in that side get to rest now. For now we know no injuries to who should be the Bok players. Only injury to Alberts.
Bulls/Stormers still have next week and probably the following if they make it.
