I don’t hope rain spoils these games once again !!!

  • 2

We’ll win this game but one wonders if we’ll cock it up again in the Super 8’s and not even make the Semi,s? Wonder what Corrie is saying to the boys to help them get over this mental block.. Still think the key is to start quicker when we bat and not put too much pressure on the middle order..

  • 3

    Please dont open with Kallis…

Rather put Gibbs in there and hope it comes off…

  • 4

    Captain Joker and his Chokers

  • 5

Gibbs is tired Blouste, please dont tell me thats what you think the answer is.. He had a great eye with limited foot work but now his eyes are gone now he has an average eye with poor foot work.. Have said it before, will say it again,Gibbs is the biggest waste of talent I’ve seen in South African cricket history.

  • 6

Winston, I don’t think thats the answer, I’m merely saying rather that than a Kallis batting at 4 an over…

Maybe not the best example perhaps…

  • 7

Its quite simple,as great as Kallis is he must shape up or ship out.. Because all he does is put pressure on the middle order. So either Corrie or Kepler are going to need to have a serious chat with him.. He has all the shots in the book and is probably our greatest ever cricketer but for some reason he just does not destroy bowling attacks like he should..

  • 8

Boys Boys, Kallis is the first guy i will pick. He batted very well in India in the IPL. The guys around him must go flat out, Kallis will secure you a 50+ at better than a run a ball.

But why the hell does the other 10 guys play save. Australia is never worried even if they are 15/6 they just keep on attacking.

in this series the totals vary from as low as 120, now imagine Kallis gives you 60 of 60 balls……

  • 9

Super,Jacques Kallis is an enigma,I just dont understand the guy.. I’m just tired of him dictating to everyone what his role in the side is,he should do whats best for the team, not whats best for Jacques Kallis.

  • 10

We should win this one by plenty. Hoping so. Comes on so late though.

Not sure if you all have a long waiting time to get into bru for the T/20 picks? or check who selected what? It took me about 5 min for it to come through. To check everyones picks.

  • 11

Puma, not much to check bud,if any one picks Bang or Afghanistan then they have rocks in their head or are psychic..

  • 12

With this bloody D/L it might yust rain out again or we might stay up to see 5 overs a side

  • 13

There is a camp that blames Kallis for that Winston, but hell the guy is not dead wood he is scoring a lot of runs. A good example to follow, maybe a bit faster , but copy that determination and you wont have a one series wonder like Duminy. AB can learn a lot from Kallis.

  • 14

I said it once, I will say it again, and I will keep on saying it until the idiots are gone: Captain Joker and his Chokers.

  • 15

TCO, they still entertain us and they are not the worst South African sports team. Bafana on National level owns that title. And the Lions in Rugby.

  • 16

O and the choker tag have a boss

  • 17

    11
    Winston you watching?

  • 18

Hi Super, yeah just turned on the tv now. I might need to eat humble pie in Bangladesh win this game 🙂

  • 19

but also look what i said about Aus even though they were 65/6 they dont stop , they kept going

  • 20

Cant get the remote from my better half 😀 What is the score on this game?

  • 21

132-6 off 18 overs. Aus pulling finger 🙂

  • 22

21 – Thanks Winston, just looked at cricinfo. Aus should win, the it is a low score so far, still think they will be too much for Bangladesh.

  • 23

Super,I’ve had this argument with so many people but I still stand by this.. When you say who were the best 3 batters of the last 15 years, you would automatically think Lara,Tendulkar and Steve Waugh, you could maybe argue Ponting. Kallis is just as good as them but will never be mentioned in the same breath as those players because he never dominated attacks regularly.. Yes,he has scored thousands of runs but how many times has to got to 100 and slowed down, hence he has never got to 200.. However with regards to 20 20 I agree he is the glue of the team but you cant deny that he has shot us in the foot a few times with putting too much pressure on the middle order.. He did the same thing in the 2007 50 over world cup,did it in the 20 20 World Cup last year and countless other times.. He needs to score faster,he has all the talent and all the shots,so why doesnt he???

  • 24

12 – Super, Hope it does not rain, then we could be in trouble.

  • 25

We have a better run rate than Afghanistan so we should be fine if it rains Puma.

  • 26

    23
Winston i think he is speeding up a bit, he is a solid batter for sure more on the old mode. But i am a traditionalist , so i like a guy who can bat 500 minutes. 😆

But really he is getting better like good wine.

we cant blame HIM for SA problems he is the hardest worker and student of the game. He is past a few big names lately.

  • 27

25 – Winston, Just checked that out. We should be fine. Just hope when we reach the next stage we can do something and not exit early.

  • 28

Our biggest problem is not Jacques,it is our death bowling, its awful. 75 runs off the last 5 overs lost us the game, not Kallis’s slow batting.. But he is a legend,so its difficult to chirp him too much, still think that double hundred monkey and World cup failure must be eating at him and the other senior players..

  • 29

Puma do you still feel you can not beat the Stormers?

  • 30

Well for me it is not such a big issue. getting ahead of Ponting with hundreds scored is more important, Tendulkar deserves top spot.
