Morning all. Good to see my Bru is off to a good start,my rugby is up the pole so need the points.:)
Must admit, I never thought for one moment the Hurricanes will walk over the Reds in this fashion ๐ฏ
Looks like the Reds have shot their bolt in the Super 14…
Time’s up…..
I wonder if the Reds have maybe shot their bolt. Played well, but couldn’t sustain the play to the very end????
Anyway, they’ve done us proud, great early season play reinvigorated Aus rugby!
Come on Reds, one converted try ?
To much to ask I suppose…
214 – Old Griquas, Reds have done you Aussies proud. Who would have thought they would have done this well this season? They will be very hard to beat next year.
Think your Tahs might still be in there for a semi, maybe Brumbies too with the Canes. That is if Saders lose tonight.
Game over !!!
44 – 21 Hurricanes
Final Score, Canes 44 / 21
The Reds have peaked,I think they will lose there last game as well next week. But still a very good side.
Think it will be Tahs and Brumbies in the semis against my Bullyboys and Stormpoppies
212 – Blouste, Nor did I. Only had Reds to win by 3. Then after they came back at the Canes thought they just could do it. Then that try just before half time got the Canes confidence up and now they have blown the Reds away.
221 – Turk, If Saders lose tonight it could be. Though Canes could make it too. Think they will be on 37 after this game. Not sure have to go and look.
Go Canes !! ๐
Also, congrats to the Reds for lifting themselves from absolute obscurity to giving the big boys a run for their money. They will not be so easily dismissed by anyone next year ๐
#203 Griqua,
Ah yes, the Stooges. I used to love ’em but I haven’t seen any of their stuff for ages..
#206 Blouste, you’re only saying that cause your chick is bigger than you and you want to keep her happy. ๐
BTW, what’s with all your up-country singers? Every second song is about the Cape. Damn, assitie “Hemel op Tafelberg” issie dansit “Waterblommetjies innie Kaap”! You made your decision to move away, now live with it I say.
I mean you ous are even trying to play rugby the Cape way these days….
Canes suddenly in 3rd spot, on 37 Log Points….
Yip, Canes now sitting on 37. Brumbie and Tahs still to play though. Depends how they end up tomorrow.
Well and truly beaten, congrats Canes !!!
Puma @ 217 G’day mate. Not long until the holidays in Mauritius???
Yep, well done Reds. Looking good for next season and their playing style may have some input with the Wallabies.
I think the Tahs will struggle against the Chiefs. I rate the Chiefs, at home on the Waikato, as a strong side. Nonetheless, it’s crunch time for the Tahs, so let’s see how they fare at the action part of the tournament.
36 unanswered points by the Canes, very impressive..
224 – Rugby Princess, Very right. Reds suprised us all this year. They will be far better next year.
223- puma The last game is between Tahs and canes in ozzie, so i think the tahs will take it.
fender @ 225
yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeehaaaaaaa!!
๐
Reds have done well this season, should be a good team next year.
Ok, I’m off…
Cheers guys, have a good one ๐
Come on the Bulls for later ๐
22 – Old Griquas, Yip only two weeks then off on holiday.
I don’t rate the Chiefs this year. Think Tahs could beat them even on Chiefs turf. They know they beat the Chiefs they could be in the semi. Brumbies too could make it. Depends on the Saders tonight against the Bulls.
Ciao themostblue
Blouste, Cheers mate. Good luck to your Bulls for later.
Rugby Princess @ 224 I’m sure the Reds would appreciate your sentiments. They have come out of the blue and played an exciting brand of rugby. The Kiwi sides can never be taken for granted, i.e. Chiefs tomorrow night – they will fight to the very end.
232 – Turk, The way the Canes played away this year especially in SA. Then yes, see Tahs beating them in Sydney. Though their tails will be up now. They are a dangerous team when things go right for them.
