Chiefs 24 / 18 as Cruden slots a penalty
Thanks GrootPienk,
Ek voel nou sommer mislik oor die saak, het my tande gesluip vir die stryd tussen die voor rye, nou gaan ons nie ‘n akkurate reflection kry van SA se bestes teen mekaar nie.
Damn, where’s Blades now to pronounce that Chiefs’ scrummy’s name, hehe!
24 – Fender, Well done to your Stormers, that 2nd half was brilliant. What a game for you to go to? Must have been aswesome the vibe, except as you say the supporter at the back of you. You get those kinds everwhere.
32@ Vuurtjie – John Smit at hooker, with Beast coming in does not weaken the Sharks…. only thing the Sharks might miss is Bissie’s ability to act as extra fetcher
32 – Fires, I just asked another Sharks guy on keo who knows quiet a bit and he said there is no news about Bissy anywhere in Durbs. Also like he said a neck op will take more than 6 weeks to get over more like 6 months. So just have to wait and see if this is true or not. I have looked on all the rugby news sites and see nothing. Only the Beeld has it.
36 – meant quite
35 – Gbs, That is where we will miss Bissy in the loose. Still no other site has this news at all.
Anyone have cure for the mother of all hangovers?
Suggestions welcome.
Puma,
I sure hope it’s a bit of Blou Nul humour, we need Bis to tank his way around the field, bashing Nulle out of the ruck.
GrootPienk,
I would have loved to see John at loosehead, we’ll now have three props on the field, with Beast bringing the speed…Smit is rather slow these days, with a low work rate….Not ideally what one want from your hooker.
38@ Puma – As I understand it, it’s not really a neck or back operation as such, just removal of some extra bone growth… which might explain the 6 weeks.
If it is only a ruse, I cannot see the sense in it…. the Bulls would have prepared for Bissy the whole week, nothing will have changed.
Chiefs 27 / 18
34 – Puma, ja mate it was great. And you’re right – there’s one in every crowd. McCaw got a rousing reception to honour his 100th and judging by the applause he got, the Newlands faithful had clearly not forgotten the contribution that Jack made to WP’s CC campaign last year. That’s the stuff that you can’t normaly pick up on tv – you have to be at the stadium.
Piri Weepu hooks a sitter….. miss
Aaron Cruden is a bad distributor, specially towards his right hand side
Puma,
Rob just confirmed it…………for some unknown reason they (sharksworld) were asked to not publish any news on it.
Can’t see why Beeld, a pta newspaper, is allowed to break the news but no one else can.
Cannes struggle to put the chiefs away
Refs aren’t paranoid — everybody really does hate them.
Chiefs 27 / 21 as Weepu slots a penalty and a Chiefs player is binned.
47
They probably asked everyone else to not report on it either (can’t see why, unless it is very serious which means even Beeld gave the sugar coated version of the story).
Shame on Beeld for ignoring the Sharks wishes, bigger shame on the Sharks for ignoring their fans’ wishes.
It might be time for another conspiracy theory 🙂
51 – Fires, It is on no other rugby site. Maybe Beeld gets the news first, have no idea. You would think it would be on the Sharkrugby site but nothing there.
47 – Fires, I went over early to ask Rob, but no-one was on the blog then. If he says it is then it is. Pity.
52@ Puma – You Tjarks supporters should feel happy…. Bissy would have cost you at least 6 points in penalties anyway….. hehehe
Puma,
Yeah I’ve also been stalking the site, he finally replied and says it is serious.
Wish he would say how serious (as in 6 weeks out serious, or career ending serious).
GrootPienk 54,
And permanently injured at least 3 of the Nulle’s pansy forwards 😆
54 – gbs, NO that is a huge loss. Of course John will be fine at hooker and even our scrum just might be even better with John playing hooker, but Bissy in the loose is a monster. We going to miss him for sure. Not his penalties wont miss that 😀
56@ Vuurtjie – Naah…. not the Mental Patient….
