Blouste @ 73 no, not technology, more the age of grape and soil types, but I do have a great love of the SA wines. I believe in most instances the Aus grapes lead in the second world varieties, at the moment, but taste is, as always, a subjective thing. Kiwis are doing well lately with their Marlborough wines. Anyway, if it’s wet, I like it!!!!!!!!

82 – Old Griquas, WOW!!!! That is expensive. I can get top of the range, well what I like for about R120 I call that cheap. You get cheaper that is quite good but prefer this one.
Going to Mauritius in 3 weeks time. They sell South African wine there. A bottle of red wine that costs R60 here will cost R600 there. Very expensive to buy your wine there. But on holiday I don’t care will just have to pay for it. 😀
