88 – Old Griquas, Thanks, not too sure if Sharks can beat this Reds side. Reds looking very good. Just compare our FH to the Reds: Goode = Cooper??? Cooper far, far better and Genia is superb. See Ioane moved to the wing too. Going to be tough.
If Reds beat the Sharks. The log will look like this, after today.
Tahs
Bulls
Saders
Reds
Stormers sitting in 5th after this weekend and they have to face the Blues next weekend? That will be also tough for them. Blues on the up as well.
Think Reds could land up in a semi if they win today.
90 – GBS, and it is a big hope. We could but that Reds side is loaded with some really good players. They also playing some really good rugby. Some changes in that team too. Ioane moved to the wing, and a rugby league player, Will Chambers at outside centre.
Have to just wait and see. Sharks have travelled back too. Not going to be easy.
Sharks have nothing to lose really, we not going to make a semi, so if we lose we lose. We win we help out the Stormers and Bulls that will be it.
Okay back later for the Sharks game.
Interesting twist, those log positions. We all know Tahs are at the top under sufferage, but, hey, it’s better than being at the bottom!
So here’s Aus rugby faring quite well at present at the elite level, while the ship burns from below.
Deans and Michael OÇonnor quoted today saying how well we are doing with young quality players coming through the ranks, in particular, sevens rugby. New selections will be available for next year’s RWC and we’ll be looking quite healthy for the 2015 WC. However, if you attend a local club match, you’ll soon finish up at the bar, with a cold beer in hand – the quality of play goes back 20 years in standard. I hope things are better in RSA at a similar level???
94 – Old Griquas, Any country thinking they can beat the Aussies will be foolish. Australia rugby on the up. Tahs, Brumbies and now the Reds are playing some really good rugby. Even the Force beat the Stormers yesterday. Stormers were really, awful against the Force. So have to see how they do against a Blues side that looked damn good today. Loads of changes in the following weeks on the log.
If Reds beat the Sharks today they will probably win next week too against the Lions. They will be sitting nice in the top 4. Then will face Bulls and Stormers on their home turf.
Exciting stuff.
Cheers Old Griquas out of here now.
OK, I’ll be BAAACK!
Let me go and be the good husband for a while….
Walla, Before I go. How you mate? Aussie sides doing well this weekend.
96 – GBS….hehehe.
Me too out of here now. Back for the Sharks game.
Okay the Waratahs are not my team but I will like to make this statement now…whilst the hay has been cut and the sun is shining!! 😆
An aussie side on top…for now…not bad for a nation that has absolutely no depth!!
😆
99@ Walla – Farking Ozzies!
Hehehehe
Goooo Sharks!
GBS
Whats that song again…
IT’S HARD TO BE HUMBLE!!!
just being cheeky 😆
Puma 98.
I am feeling sick at the moment…dreaded flu doing the rounds.
Aussie sides doing well but I should not hold any thought that a collective of aussie sides will do well at the end. Can only hope though.
Brumbies and Waratahs are on form..Force could get another game or two. Reds the same.
Puma
I think the Sharks have this one.
I had tipped the Reds purely on the basis the Sharks are travelling back from their jaunt over seas. My tip is a risk one.
I feel that every round a risk tip has to be made!
103 – Walla, I hope so, but this is a really good Reds side. They have everything to play for. They win today they will to into the top 4. So that is real motivation for sure. Sharks win we only move up to 9th I think. Yes, of course we get our pride back a bit and will help out the Stormers and Bulls. That will be it.
Not so sure the Sharks will win this one. Going to be tough. I want them too though 😀
Walla, hope you get over the flu…..hehehe. Something I have not had in years and years. Well had a headcold over December but not into the chest where it is flu.
Puma
Thanks mate.
The Sharks have had a few bad calls but technically they have 3 wins due to their bonus pointsw. They start winning consistently they will squeek into the top four.
