+3 Louis Oosthuizen
+3 Tim Clark
Louis Oosthuisen finished his first round with a 75, +3. He won the short course competition on Augusta earlier this week.
That is not a good start to his week. I think no one won the Par 3 competition and went on to win the Major.

US Masters…….. whooohoooo. Always enjoy this golf tourney.
1st the British Open
2nd US Masters
3rd Nedbank Challenge at Sun City.
Those are my 3 favourite golf tournements.
Good luck to all the saffas playing in the Masters.
Puma did you watch any Crici yet, Kallis was very good today.
5 – superBul, NO damn we had no power AGAIN today, was blogging here about round 11am and it went off. Really getting to me. Is it only our area? This has happened 3 times in the past few months.
Came back on just awhile back. Just must not go off during the rugby tomorrow..haha.
Back in 20min going to eat dinner now.

Back in 20min
6@ Puma – Luckily no Power Outages here so far…. touch wood (as I touch Puma’s head.. hehehehe).
But I’ve had to deal with the havoc Power Outages has caused, One Client’s Graphics Card and Hard Disk Drive damaged due to the spike which preceded the Outage, another client’s Hard Drive damaged…
Make sure you have a UPS connected to your normal PC, in the case of a Notebook the battery serves as a Natural UPS…
Hello GBS
I try this one tonight, hope its okay for the staunch RUGBY lovers. I like my golf and this is the best Tournament on the eye. Have to agree with Puma , the British Open is the Big one. Old people is traditionalists.
10@ SuperBul – No problem
Oh, by the way, Tjarkie_ForNever and myself are going golfing on Sunday…. psssst, I think he’s a ringer…. hehehehe
SuperBul – Het jy gesien hoe oud het Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer en Gary Player geword… hulle is seker nou naby 80…. amper halfte so oud soos ons vriend Pietman…. hehehehe
time for my ship to come in, i would love to come and show you two a thing or 2. Nerves of steel on that winning put, thats me. 😆
13@ SuperBul – Sal jy my help soek na my gholfballe in die bosse??
Hehehehe
The 70-year-old Nicklaus, who won the last of his record six Masters in 1986 when he was 46, has not played Augusta National since 2005 and, in a sign of the times, he was asked to join old rival Arnold Palmer as ceremonial starters.
Palmer went first sending his tee shot down the 445-yard, par-four first just after sunrise, followed by Nicklaus, who hit the ball 30 yards beyond him.
They both then stepped aside to set the stage for what was expected to be one of the most compelling days in golf history, centered on the now enigmatic figure of Woods.
Hi all. Lets hope Ernie can get involved now that Tiger has fallen off the rails a bit..

Hi Winston, they reckon that Retief is one of the favorites.
9 – gbs…hahaha Just lucky you have none of this power going off. We have had it 3 times recently.
Okay see our saffas are doing okay so far at the Masters. Still early days. Will watch some at 7.30pm then see we only get it back on after Boots. That is fine will watch a bit after that.
Also see BRC should win. So should pick up a point there on bru.
Hello Winston as I have said hello to gbs and Super.

21 – Super, I was reading that Schwartzel is also a favourite!! Will have to see once he starts.
Yeah, the Goose is also a great player so anything is possible 🙂
Puma that youngster was the big talk in my Provincial Golf committee days. I went to Sanlameer when he was there as a winner. They predicted good things for him.
23 – Super, Not bad from Goosen still on the 7th. Immelman only on the 4th so he is looking good so far, also Ernie but he is on the 10th already. Now we need some more birdies from them. Hoping.

19 – That would be good Winston, Well would be great to see any of the saffas do well here. Was really proud when Immelan won it. Only he and Player have ever won the Masters.
