Coming back from work i nearly fell of my chair when i opened the Sport websites. What happened.

First happiness to see the Cheetahs got some luck and points. Then the Shock of the week, Stormers also falling prey to the Reds. Then the one i expected but did not have the guts to pick. Well i just hope there is no more serious shocks coming tomorrow.

Superbru is in a mess this weekend.

0,06 Picked a draw for the Cheetahs but more significantly there was only 4% who was ready for anything spectacular by the Cheetahs.

Picks for Chiefs 46301 (95.93%)
Picks for Cheetahs 1937 (4.01%)
Picks for draw 27 (0.06%)

The Reds really forced their way up the food chain this year. I am sure they aim to go all the way but taking the scalps of the Bulls, Stormers and the Crusaders must make 2010 already a big success.

Picks for Reds 12010 (24.98%)
Picks for Stormers 35863 (74.59%)
Picks for draw 206 (0.43%)

Crusaders losing, maybe the Bulls might be a bigger shock.

Picks for Force 1883 (3.92%)
Picks for Crusaders 46149 (96.01%)
Picks for draw 37 (0.08%)

This summer the temperatures was most of the times lower than usual.

Agree , here in hell it was not that bad. But the sun is more intense, or i am getting scared. Wonder if the ozone layer does not let more warm rays through. It really burned us this year.

28 – Then gbs I may join you one day. Serious though that big screen at montecasino in the square is the best ever. Even in broad day light you see it perfect. Brilliant view from every restaurant. The restaurants there must have made a fortune during the world cup 2007. Not so sure in the next world cup cause of the time zone. Maybe breakfasts…….hehehehehehe. With champagne!!!!! If we don’t go to NZ to watch we going to watch in our jp’s and coffee……hahahahaha. I think I will head off to NZ to watch the world cup. Never been there before heard it is great for outdoors which I love so will want to go. Tickets come out in in a month for the WC. You don’t buy a pool game you may not get a semi or final ticket. So will have to get to see a pool game if I go. I really want to though. Don’t want to watcht the wc in my pg’s and coffee…….hehehehe.

39@ Puma – I think I must go too…. after all, I’m an official member of the Sports Press now…. so I’ll be welcome at all games…

    40 – gbs, You will be……hahahaha.

Who wants to watch rugby at 5am or 6am or even 8am in the morning????? I like to watch rugby at normal sa time with a braak a few glasses of wine etc….. So the best thing to beat the time zone is just to go to NZ. Very hard to get tickets for the semi and final unless you buy a pool game or two. Read it a week back. So need to get started on that tour soon. Hope my knees hold out……hahahaha.

    41 – meant a braai not a braak……..hehehe

    NZ Headlines

Gone they may be, but forgotten they certainly aren’t after John Mitchell’s Western Force scored the upset of the Super 14 rugby season overnight.

Just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse for the Chiefs in this Super 14 season, it did, as they gave up a halftime lead in a 25-25 draw with the Cheetahs.

Centrebet reported before the kick-off that a gambler had plunged $325,000 on the Stormers to beat the Reds at Suncorp Stadium in what is believed to be one of the largest individual wagers laid in any football code this year.

Betting against the Reds has been folly in the extreme this season, and Queensland reinforced the point with a grinding one-try-all triumph over a Stormers outfit rated by many to be the best in the Super 14 this season.
