Coming back from work i nearly fell of my chair when i opened the Sport websites. What happened.
First happiness to see the Cheetahs got some luck and points. Then the Shock of the week, Stormers also falling prey to the Reds. Then the one i expected but did not have the guts to pick. Well i just hope there is no more serious shocks coming tomorrow.
Superbru is in a mess this weekend.
0,06 Picked a draw for the Cheetahs but more significantly there was only 4% who was ready for anything spectacular by the Cheetahs.
Picks for Chiefs | 46301 (95.93%) |
Picks for Cheetahs | 1937 (4.01%) |
Picks for draw | 27 (0.06%) |
The Reds really forced their way up the food chain this year. I am sure they aim to go all the way but taking the scalps of the Bulls, Stormers and the Crusaders must make 2010 already a big success.
Picks for Reds | 12010 (24.98%) |
Picks for Stormers | 35863 (74.59%) |
Picks for draw | 206 (0.43%) |
Crusaders losing, maybe the Bulls might be a bigger shock.
Picks for Force | 1883 (3.92%) |
Picks for Crusaders | 46149 (96.01%) |
Picks for draw | 37 (0.08%) |
Well, this puts a completely new spin on the competition, does’nt it.
Nobody is sure where they are anymore and the competition can go anywhere from here!
There could be 5 teams on 34 after this weekend followed by 2 more on 30
And we thought that a few more will be gone this week, seems like more is in the run now
The point difference is coming into play now, can someone tell the Bulls we need a 92 pointer?
4 – Super, Maybe tomorrow the Bulls get a huge score. That will make a difference. Though I think all the Bulls have to do from here is win their games. They go for the bonus point from the start will only backfire and put them on the backfoot. Just go for the win first. That is the most important. After that I think the bonus will come.
Crusaders had 96% support
Well to change the subject, the rain just coming down like never before. Don’t think I have seen this much rain in April up in Joburg ever. Though let us enjoy it. The dry seasons is almost upon us. 5 months of very dry weather after this rain. So may it rain for another week or so. Not tomorrow during the Bulls or Sharks game though.
Puma you are right , but let me tell you when are you save, leading by 21 is nothing lately. The thing is you must hit hard when you are on a roll.
And they all said that this will be a dry year, El nina or something like that. We had a very cold day, wonder how the game walk will be tomorrow. Lions play a lot when it is cold. hope to get a few good pictures to add to the collection
8 – Super, for sure, the best teams do that. This year there are many that are going to challenge. Very exciting.
Bulls are in a very good position right now with a game in hand. They should top the log tomorrow. Well hoping the wya things go anything can happen, though doubt the Lions will beat the Bulls. Remember Sharks let a few tries go begging last week with handling errors. Don’t think the bulls will do that. I see Bulls with 39 points after tomorrow.
Check the Francois Hougaard injury news on the Boet Fick thread
9 – Super I envious you going on the Lions walk tomorrow. I LOVE the wild life in this country. Cold or not it is fantastic. You know better than me, but I think if it is cold you will see more wild life. Most hide in the bushes for shade from the sun when it is hot.
Puma i will take that any day.
11 – On this site gbs? Will go look now. Habs too looked in pain today.
14@ Puma – Yip, the Bulls President resigns thread… one of my comments there, saw it on SuperSport
13 – Super, I think you mean post 10. Yes if I was a Bulls supporter would take that too.
15 – gbs, Will go and check. Never saw that thread.
They like to lie down in the cold wind, just hope we dont step on another predators tail. This is a dangerous thing. But i love it , they had the wild roaming Lions around the Lodge yesterday.
You better pick right in the sports pool to win that weekend.
What has it come to, the forecast for tomorrow is 9 night and 12 day. IN APRIL!!!!!!!!!! Never seen those temps in April in Joburg ever. Super you will see many game tomorrow. They come out in the cold. Well I think they do.
18 – Super…hahaha. See your post now. I thought they would come out in the cold. I know the lay about in the bush under the trees in the hot sun. Thought maybe you would see more tomorrow, while it is cold.
19@ Puma – Well it is almost May, when the winter really starts here…. luckily I have a Bulls Jacket too….. hehehehe
21 – gbs, I had to have my mate that is flying back and forward from where I live in Umhlanga to bring me some warm clothes I left behind there. I thought I would be back in April, which I normaly am, but not this year. Onlyb going back in June. He brought me some of my jackets…hehehe. Getting cold here now. Unusual for April which is not that cold really.
22@ Puma – I suppose this wet weather brings the cold on quicker.
…. and we had such brilliant sunshine this morning… clear blue skies and all….
24 – Gbs, Just pleased it was sunshine while I went to montecasino square and watched Stormers game on the big screen. You sit outside there. Lovely sun while watching. Was superb. The last time I done that was last year when the Sharks lost to the Reds. Of course during the wc 2007. Great vibe there and must be the best big screen to watch rugby. ONLY NO SOUND TODAY only music, Never worried me much the vibe was good. As long as I could see the rugga.
Came home and all of a sudden big huge clouds. Then the rain. So don’t mind the rain coming now. Not when I am enjoying myself though……hahahahaha.
23 – Super, It sure does.
Early start for the Bulls tomorrow. 2.30pm so hope no rain by that time. Rain forecast until Monday.
25@ Puma – Best Big Screen is here in my Office, and plenty of sound!!
Hahaha
GBS you saw my Question about Bom Samaai?
27@ Puma – Bulls game starts at 15:00, not 14:30… only the TV feed starts at 14:30
