Once again the Stormers are consistent in Team selection.

This almost exact team has played most of the Super 14 with an injury here or there, surely if the Bulls are worried about resting players the Stormers MUST BE in the same boat… yet they don’t look jaded….

For me this puts a new perspective on the need to rest or not to rest players… or will it bite the Stormers in the arse?

Maybe when we come to round 14 and semi’s…even injuries can play a huge role then.

    Time will tell…

Imo players from the Bulls MUST get a rest soon, even if it’s only from a mental perspective…

    GBS,

Actualy the Stormers have rotated players constantly due to a combination of injuries and illness (Schalk, Grant, De Jongh, Liebenberg, Fondse immediately spring to mind) and planning (Aplon,Notacolouredoukie,JC, Van Zyl), so maybe they appear fresher at this stage.

Saturday will be a test though…

Care to answer my question on the other thread ?

    @ 4

Sorry, saw it and replied there.

3@ Kitaarsnaar – Bulls have done exactly the same…. Kuun and Stegmann, Dewald Potgieter was out for a while and Pedrie played, Jaco Pretorius vs Dippenaar, Flip and Danie Pakslae.

But in both the Stormers and Bulls certain players have played every game…. Bekker & Matfield, Spies & Duane, Wynand Meisiekind and Jaque Fourie, Habana & Francois Hougaard, Brok & Werner Kruger….. ect

    #6 GBS

Well in that case, what’s the Bulls’ excuse for being so pap then? 😉

7@ Kitaarsnaar – Bulls need to make that mental shift NOW, for which they have become known in the last few years regarding closing out the Competition.

The strongest muscle sits between the ears….

That’s what a lot of men buying certain tablets from our pharmacy also say 😆

Now that the Bulls are home they will be as fresh as anything 🙂

Bulls must use this Lions game as a springboard to get back on track. Theoretically speaking, this could be the last game they will win before the play-offs. Though I doubt it.

But wait… why are we talking about the Bulls on a Stormers thread?

Stormers could very well be in the same position as the Bulls. In fact, they might not win a single game in the last 4 rounds. To hell wit rotation… its the start of a new season and every game could be fatal.

And one more thing… if you have Morgan Newman and Tiger Bax on the bench, how do you still manage to end 4th in the southern league of the VC!?!?!?!??!?!?!
