The players we picked are listed below. Not a single Bulls player, second time this year. Surely we are the underdogs now, backs to the wall. Even the Lions have a player in there, whoow. What a fall from grace.

10 Stormer players who deserve their places , another first.

60 – Tripps, well done, then only the Bulls let me down this week. 😯

  • 62

60@ Tripps – Congrats, you climbed 17 places if I’m not mistaken!!

Lucky bugger… well it can only be luck!

  • 63

GBS is right – JJ is the Britney Spies of rugby writers: he knows what his audience wants and he gives it to them. 😉

    rugbybal 51

Joubert nailed the Bulls and rightfully so. There were some bad decisions ie…the build up to the Reds second and the Bulls first try there were some forward passes.

The other Bulls try I would have thought the ref would have had to reset the scrum due to the ball going straight out the otherside on the feed.

Looked at the votes for the Fullback and my goodness why are people not voting for the bulls fullback. he has been very solid.

think there is bias in the selections.

I think the saffa mindset can be a bit wayward with emotion. A player scores a try and he is King. Kirchner deserves more plaudits…he was by far better than Aplon this weekend.

  • 66

Except for fulback, most players won their positions hands down.

    Well done boys.

Wallabie is said it after the game Saturday too, the NZ and Australian commentators rate him far higher than any South African , bar the Bulls. I was also surprised that Gio was so highly rated.

Chiefs are down and out, what a implosion. They are struck by a lot of injuries though. I guarantee you if Zane plays a blinder against the Lions the South African supporters will say , but it was against the blind school.

Snoek, VM was outshone by the flashy display of Bekker, but go and look at the work Matfield did. He was there my friend, just not at centre so much. It was closer than you think. Unless we think rugby has changed to 8 flanks or 5 centers.

So by the way i did like Bekkers game and voted for him.

  • 69

68 – Agree, i don’t mean that the other players was so much better than the ones that got less votes, i just mean that it seems that good play was rewarded on the weekend by all supporters and not just the Bulls supporters choosing the bulls players and Stormer supporters choosing Stormer players etc.

you know by now the Bulls can see the good in life. 😆

  • 71

Tripples – 😆 You Go Girl….Show the boys!!

  • 72

Who the hell voted for JP Pieterson and Stefan Terblanche….between them they butchered about 4 tries….it must have been a very one-eyed Sharks supporter…..and I’m a Sharks supporter.
