Macaw playing well and doing a lot of work.
56@ Oldie – hehehehe
There should be a lower resolution setting…. damned if I know, I don’t visit dodgy sites.
I think the Little Airport’s Internet Speed (not enough available bandwidth for the amount of users) is causing the static pictures…. typically they limit user bandwidth….
So, you’re working at Complaints now…. “Come Planes, Come Planes!”
Hehehehe
Saders 15 / 13
Pietman @ 11 – is that Lachie Turner with the knackered knee, or Mitchell????
Unlikely to be a draw now… with a 2-point difference and 10 min to go
One of these 2 teams will be moving down the Log…
Saders are now hot on the attack and taking it through the phases… on the 5m line of the Tahs… Saders scrum
Saders knock the ball 3 m out….
Saders are now clinically applying the pressure and closing the game out.
Try Saders??
TMO
Looks like a try…
GBS @ 69 – typically strong saders, great team! Sounds like they are on top???
Should be a try…
Awarded
Saders 20 / 13
Carter now goes for posts with a penalty as well…. to deny the Tahs a bonus point
Penalty to Saders and Carter misses again.
71 – Old Griquas, sorry mate, but at least Tahs pick up a bonus point. Those bonus points all count in the end.
Crusaders like the Bulls are so good at closing games out, they have done it 100 times before..
Final score Saders 20 / Waratahs 13
Saders get 4 Log points, Tahs get 1
Only minutes to go????
76 – Winston, going to be interesting to see what Saders can do here against the Bulls and Stormers. Somehow think both Bulls and Stormers will beat the Saders at home.
Oh well, another tahs loss to the saders . . . What a great franchise they are! Congrats to them.
The loss could sink the tahs to around the middle of the log after this weekend’s results.
I’m going straight to the Aviators’ Club to drown the sorrows.
80 – Old Griquas, Mate don’t worry too much, Tahs picked up a point. Those bonus points sometimes help towards the end of the tourney. Tahs still sitting up in the top 4.
Enjoy it at the Aviators’ Club.
Puma – thanks mate. One point is better than a poke in the eye with a blunt stick, but I think the result was a bit of a litmus test. Tahs fans wanted to see a win against the odds in the Cantabrian homelands to set this side above past tahs teams, but alas, they weren’t good enough, and that may become their epitaph at season’s end.
The Aviators’ Club is looking good – temp around 7deg. Pity the members aren’t yet into watching our game. I could have watched it on a big screen with a nice little Australian Margaret River Merlot.
P.S. Can I tell you of a shopping experience in St Ives, Sydney last week? While standing in the queue for meat at the butchers, a strong South African accent bellowed out to the butcher who was serving him. “Can you cut this side of beef into very large steaks for me?” Butcher replied, yeah mate, no worries. What, say inch thick” AAAccch, no man, came the reply. I’m talking real steaks, like I get back home – I want 3 inch steaks”
The crowd in the queue all laughed and patted him on the back – ENJOY!!!!
82 – Old Griquas..HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Thanks for that mate. We do like our Steaks big and thick here……..hahahahaha. Enjoyed that.
Listen I think Tahs could still do it, they must be sitting still at 2nd spot on the log.
Pity they are not into the rugby at your club. Would have been great to watch it with a nice with a good Merlot (my favourite is red wine) also on the big screen. Nothing better. See your temps have cooled a bit. Ours have too just a little in Joburg.
Yip, once I am back in Umhlanga I go to the clubhouse almost all the time to watch the rugga. There we ALWAYS get it…hehehe. Nothing compares to watching it there, it is great.
One day Old Griquas, I would really enjoy to meet you. When I am back in Oz.
