325 – Bluebeard, Bekker is playing sublime rugby, very good for the Boks that we have him and Victor. Bekker just playing SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much better than last year.
Thanx Puma
Pitty we did’nt score the bonuspoint try, but a win is a win!!
Was good to hear the AllBlack commentators moan about Dickenson for a change 😆
Now please Lions, do your bit for SA rugby!!! Please, Please, Please!!
I will even wear a red t-shirt this afternoon!!
Karen, Ash and KingPaul, Hope you all celebrate later. Stormers done you proud and also for us saffas.
This bonus point not taken is a pity, but against the Blues you take the win every day.
332 – KingPaul, actually these kiwi commentators were very honest and fair, they were giving Stormers plenty credit how well they were playing. Yes once again Dickenson never had a great game, just pleased it was not against the Stormers this week like last week.
Now go get em Chiefs Stormers. Stormers should win and win with a bonus point next week.
KingPaul, your team doing well, even though they lost last week they got a bonus point, with that and the 4 points this week, that is them doing well on tour.
More Kingpaul
Stormers done really well this morning. Blues looked very dangerous at times but the tight defense worked, except with those broken play runs which no team can really counter.
Well done again to the Stormers!
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO LIONSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS FOR LATER. Just have a feeling the Lions could pick up their first win.
Twee goeie wenne van 2 SA spanne in NZ, waar die WB volgende jaar gehou word. Mooi, dit gee die AB’s iets om oor te dink !
jeez just read skopskiet’s twak on keo.co.za.
Unbelievable how SAffas can just not see any good in other teams regardless of wins…..
i mean isn’t it about the two best SA teams doing well at the moment and us just being happy with that?
hey gbs
skrik wakker man!!
eindscore was 33 – 21
..
😯 moetie vi o’s roppie man!!
I am still a firm believer that that moment of brilliance by Ricky Januarie to score that try for the Boks to beat the Blacks at the House of Pain was a watershed moment,because South African sides genuinely believe that they can win in New Zealand now. Stands us in good stead for that small matter of a world cup next year.
This is how I would pick my Trinations side-
01. Gurthro/Beast
02. John Smit/Tiaan Liebenberg
03. BJ/CJ
04. Danie Rossouw/Bakkies Botha
05. Andries Bekker/Victor Matfield
06. Francois Louw/Schalk Burger
07. Dewald Potgieter/Juan Smith
08. Pierre Spies
09. FdP/Ruan Pienaar
10. Morne Steyn/Peter Grant
11. Habana
12. WO
13. Jaque Fourie/Juan de Jongh
14. JPP/Gerard vdH
15. Zane Kirchner/Lambie
My thinking is this-
@1: Gurthro and Beast= best contenders- plus Smit in emergency
@2: Smit to start and play for 60 minutes & Tiaan reward for stellar season. Bissie can rest and think about his discipline and attitude.
@3: Work towards WC- our best bet- plus Smit in emergency
@4: Start with Danie & save Bakkies- if not fit= Flip or Sykes
@5: Start with Andries & save Vic- comes on when Smit comes off, as captain.
@6: Louw= Best fetcher for my money(Stegmann=discipline problems)- save Schalla.
@7: Start Potties- save Juan
@8: Any of other 4 loosies can cover- if injured pick Vermeulen.
@9: Self-explanatory
@10: Test Grant with gametime in last 10 minutes for WC- Butchie still there & Ruan as back-up.
@11: Self-explanatory
@12: Self-explanatory plus 8,9,10,12,15 combo + de Jongh to cover and JdV as WC option.
@13: Self-explanatory- Adi injured + de Jongh to cover.
@14: Self-explanatory- blood Shadow- can cover 14 + 11.
@15: Self-explanatory- blood Lambie + FS as WC back-up.
For WC we have Brussow to return if fit, a big pool of loosies to cover, but this is the most seamless combination per position with the exception of 6, but Schalla brings other skills.
