Mmmmm, I think I need a brewsky and something to munch!

29 – g’day Puma mate. You must be in good spirits today, after good result from Sharkies????

Tahs are having a shocker; they are running into players in lieu of running into the gaps. Hickey will sort that out. Consecutive wins is a requirement for the Tahs.

31 – Winston, Yip will be selling my house up here. Not yet though, probably after the wc around August. Hope the market has picked up then. Not in a hurry to sell if I don’t get my price.

I have a home in Umhlanga though so looking forward to just settle there now.

Joburg is far better for work. Far, far more opportunities up here. At my age done my bit and time to work from where I enjoy it the most. For you, think Joburg is the best place to be right now.

Must say the shops and restaurants up here are top class.

    No Kings Park though 😀

In all my time up here have never been to Loftus. Would love to have gone there before I left.

What time is the Stormers,Cheetahs game?

  • 37

32 – excellent with the stats, SB, many thanks.

Tahs are being suckered into contesting the local derby instead of sticking to a game plan – down right stupidity.

Barnes may not see out the second half; my tip is he will be hooked for Beale – pull your sox up, Barnesy!!!

    36@ Winnie – 17:05

34 – Old Griquas, Yip feel really top of the world today. Was a long time coming our win.

Tahs will pull through have no doubt. They far better than the Force.

  • 40

36 – Winston, even though you move up here. You just stay a Sharks supporter okay 😀

  • 41

    Okay going out now.

    Cheers everyone. Catch up later.

  • 42

Okay cool Puma. I stay in Durban North here and am sad to go but its onto bigger and better things. I just wish I didnt have to qualify when we have a bloody global economic recession. I really want to go to Loftus to see what the hype is all about..

  • 43

Burgess is slow today… takes 3 steps before every pass

  • 44

Puma today it happened here, my DSTV is out heavy rain and thunder now, hope it is over before the Stormers/Cheetah game.

  • 45

For sure. I’d rather stop watching rugby before I stop supporting the Sharks 🙂

  • 46

Mmmmm, I think the Force will roll the Lions…

  • 47

Agreed Gbs,but I think one of the Varsity Cup’s top sides would give the Lions a run for there money..

Winston before the game yesterday during the Vodacom cup game the TV showed some of the spectators. There was a dad with his son , must be about 4 years old , the boy had n nice Bulls logo on his face, must be those ones you buy at Loftus and all other grounds. The smile on that boys face tells the whole story, he was treated by his dad to watch the game. The expectation, the proud smile showed that he loved it. Nicely dressed up.

Somewhere else was a old Bulls supporter waving his flag , and you could see his mind wandering while he slowly waved his flag, the memories of great Bulls must have played of in his mind.

The Loftus faithful is a specie on its own, you must go and watch the emotions there, some angry , some nasty, some barbarian, some nice, all sorts. You must go

Looking good here… no bonus points on offer yet

  • 50

Has the ozzie commentary had anything good to say about the match and players thus far?

They’re normally funny to listen too, but today they remind me of 5day cricket commentary.

Hard to decide which is worse, the game or the commentary.

I am afraid the Maties will demolish them now.

  • 52

    Winston,

I think the Maties will give them more than just a run, they might just hammer them.

  • 53

Iemand wat nognie op Loftus gelewe het nie, het nog nie gelewe nie.

  • 54

?For sure. I will go for sure. If I am not mistaken there is also a test match there this year as well

  • 56

Fire,if thats the case then lets get some of these guys into the Currie Cup at least.

  • 57

    superNul,

    Snap!

  • 58

    grootPienk,

Duidelik was jy nog nie by die tank nie…… 😉

  • 59

    Winston,

We should, don’t know what they feed the boys at Maties, but they’re MILES ahead of the rest of the varsity cup sides, they should actually play in the Voda Cup.

  • 60

The vibe at the tank is great with the braai’s before and after etc.
