Mag die beste spanne wen, solank dit die SA spanne is.
1 – DWeeper, Nice one mate. I am the same support all the saffa teams when playing overseas teams.
So, anyone got their predictions down yet?
Care to share?
I’ve got the following:
Landers by close to twenty or something.
Brumbies by ‘can’t remember.
Tjietas by 6 or 12 or something.
Sharks by 9 ๐
Blues by ‘can’t remember.
Force by 3…..wild card.
4@ Vuurtjie – I will only make my picks after Boobs & All tonight…
grootPienk,
Thought of leaving it till then, but I thought to myself, I might as well get it over with, my picks might be a bit ‘creative’ for the boots & all team. ๐
Hi all,
Puma my big friend i see you asked if i ever sleep, well i do , sadly i come from the job late, and the late summer hits me with vengeance, so i go to sleep early. But around midnight when you all are snug and fast asleep i get up with a serious ph (wishing) no then i am awake and post a bit read a lot etc.
Maybe the next few weeks will cool down here and with my leave coming up i will return to a normal schedule. I miss the direct contact and see that Saint needs some sensible opposition to his way out uttering s. ๐
Die cheetahs gaan hierdie reds upstarts plat vee en met hulle sterter tussen hulle bene terug jaaaa

daai sal nice wees, go Cheetahs
Ja super dit sal nice wees
4 – Fires, I have the same but of course I have the Bulls to win. Force will never….hahaha. See there are 5 that have selected Force so far on the keo bru. How wonder who would want to lose points on their bru by choosing the Force? Much like I chose Lions the other day instead of the Tahs. I suppose you wish for some luck you get it you win big. BUT not with the Bulls they will beat the Force. Think you have Bulls don’t ya?
11 – How = Now
My huge posts up there half are corrections for my typos ๐ ๐
7 – Super, Just sort of wondered as see some of your posts are during the night. The last few nights I have been up late. Working on something again. So have been blogging during that to keep me awake……hahaha.
Felt like going to sleep at 6pm tonight. Went to bed last night around 1pm. Now that is very late for me. Still have something to work on tonight, then that should be it finished for my meeting tomorrow. Might even have to cancel that meeting for next week. As some might be able to make it. They coming from the UK and Aussie land.
So now had a strong coffee to keep me awake. Then Blouste said I should have had a Irish Coffee last night…….hehehehe. Would have fallen asleep.
might not be able. ๐ Think I am too tired already.
Think the Mumbai Indians are going to win this. They sure looking good this year.
8 – Smallies, Ek hoop. Ek hou my duime vas hou vir jou spaan.
Nou is my afrikaans sleg of okay daar?
Okay again alone here. Where is everyone? Boots only starts at 8.30pm.
Blue Bird come say hello ๐
Sharky see you up there. Where are we sitting on the Vodacom log?
HIYAS PUMA MATE
not sure
i better go check lol
Puma thanks for the tip on the AB tour on tuesdays, I’ll check it out.
Blue Bird? Is that the blue bird of happiness?
Very quiet tonight again I see.
I think there are going to be a few very close games this weekend, we’ve been getting the sharks here recently at 0635, so me and the dogs are up early.
Sharks to win, Bulls to win, Lions to go down unfortunately (I hope not though), Freestate to win….I think they are going to surprise, I also have Brumbies to win away….otherwise I think I’ve gone for home advantage.
I’ve been incredibly busy the last while, so no chance to blog and my apologies for that.
Enjoy the rugby tomorrow and Saturday and enjoy the weekend.
Incidentally I see I was the closest on the Bulls scoreline last week, I needed those 2.5 points desperately, but think I wont be in the Quarters even ๐
Puma,
Nay, I’m one of the adventurous ppl picking the Force to win…..the travel and foreign ref might just hurt the Nulle, they almost lost to the Canes with a foreign ref….just add fatigue.
Not hoping the ozzies have reason to smile, but I need to take these kind of chances to make up lost ground on SB.
22 – Fires, Really don’t see the Bulls losing to the Force.
Also was watching the NZ rugby show now and they mentioned the Aussie ref we have for Saturday. They don’t rate him. So think we may have another bit of a problem with refs. Hope not though as last week the ref was good.
20 – 4man Howzit mate, Was just watching Boots and then the NZ rugby programme. They have all chosen Canes to beat us and said the Aussie ref is not up to much. I have no idea who this ref is but they too seem to feel we have had a bit of bad luck with the refs. So hoping this week it goes fine.
I don’t mind if our Sharks lose but not by bad calls by the ref.
You should look in every Tuesday night. Super puts up the new article of that 1970 ABs tour. Great read that. I enjoy it.
Catch up some other time. Pleased you getting the Sharks game this weekend. Hope we can win this game. Feel for the players now. They have been hard done by really. So if we come away with two wins on tour that will be great.
Heard Naas on Boots speak highly of Pat Lambie our youngster who made his debut last week for the Sharks. Said watch out for him in the WC next year!!!!!!! Well I thought he was superb. Now hoping he has another great game and yes, if he does deserve to be looked at for wc why not? Frans Steyn was only 19 in the last wc. Lambie is 19 turning 20 in October. Going to be a great I think.
Once again I will turn the lights off.
Good night everyone. Good luck to all the saffa rugby sides this weekend.
Don’t bet on it ๐
Seems everyone is gone though….
Last year Paul Marks and Ian Smith refereed matches in the Curry Cup. For those who is able to remember, Ian Smith was the referee in the match between the Bulls and the Cheaters played at Loftus. That was the match where Mapoe caught the ball in front of Hougaard and was incorrectly penalized.
Of the two refs my personal opinion was that Marks was the better referee, and he has already been found wanting! To me it seems that the Sharks is dealt another joker.
So hier is nog mense wat rondhang… ๐
Of was…daar hardloop hulle weer.
Wel cheers…
Sien julle more met die games ๐
