The unluckiest player in Stormer ranks must be Deon Fourie, who certainly put in the best performance by a SA hooker this season so far this past weekend… with Tiaan Liebenberg regaining his place after having recovered from his bout of flu.

Deon, keep the faith, you’re an “Yster”!

    gbs @ 1
    agree
that guy keep on impressing me …. hmmm, i’ll give him more gametime of i were one of the coaches at province … surely some unions must be looking at a chance to sign him?

1 – GBS, Jeepers did you see him run with ball in hand? Looked like Habs for a minute…….hahaha.

Serious though he was superb last week.

I say so too. Deon just hang in there buddy, your time will come you were fantastic last weekend.

GBS, Who are the refs for all the games? Want to do my picks so need to see who is wearing number 16!! hehehe

Know Bulls have a SA ref.
Sharks have a Reserve Panel Novice ref from NZ.
    Stormers have Walsh.

Who do the Lions have? Saders/Chiefs? Reds/Force?

  • 5

Now want to do my picks and GBS has left the room 🙄

5@ Puma – Do your picks AFTER we’ve done the Preview Threads tomorrow late afternoon, why the hurry?

    Hi Puma

    How was your meeting today?

  • 10

9 – Blouste, Very good but tired now…hehehe. Not used to working so hard. Have another one early tomorrow morning too. Then from next week all easy sailing……hahaha.

  • 11

    Well glad to hear…

  • 12

10 – Blouste, Think this weekend we going to see a upset.

My feeling the Lions could beat the Tahs.
    Not sure about the others.

Sharks going to struggle and also we have another novice ref. So don’t see my team getting a win again.

  • 17

Baie, moet tyd he om die valstande ordentlik te was…en die kniee anti-inflammatory creampies te smeer… 😆

  • 18

Sharks team – TBA, gonna be another lotto draw in the front row. Hopefully Plum will have the nuts to play Alberts, Deysel and Kanko as loosies.

  • 19

    Puma….

Dis natuurlik nie jy nie… 😉

    Hallo Fires…

    Your team dissapointing man… 🙁

  • 20

I’m hesitant calling or picking upsets… it is the exception to the rule…

But I suppose either of the Sharks or the Lions could come good on the day…. I initially thought the 1st match where the Lions stood an almost 50% chance of winning would be their 7th match, against the Highlanders.

Sharks are disappointing this season but I hear the right noises coming from Plum…. he will act against his ill-diciplined players… ect ect…

Waining for him to name the squad before I’m bold enough to venture a guess, but the Brumbies are contenders to go very far this year, so it will be mighty difficult for the Sharks, no matter what.

  • 21

Can’t see the Sharks taking this one…

Had them up for a win this past weekend though, and for once reckoned tey should have won.. 👿

Cost me valuable points on superbru… 🙁

  • 22

15 – 17 GBS and Blouste, 😈 …….hehehe. I am starving. Worked the whole day today.. LOL. Was out the door so early this morning (in the joburg traffic nogal too 🙄 ) never even had breakfast.

Dinner not ready yet. So will hang around here for a bit.

Tell you what our roads are baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad.

Next week…the Stormers/Cheetahs game, now thats going to an interesting one !!!

  • 24

18 – Fires, Not sure why they are missing that trick, damn it. Play Deysel, Alberts and Kanko as our Loosies. Yellow Card JdP must sit on the bench.

Where is Lambie? Wonder now if Odwa and Keegan wont start? If I see Mvovo’s name there and that loose trio. I am going with a Sharks win. Reserve Panel ref and all.

  • 25

23 – Blouste, Would have been if Brussow was there. Now think Cheetahs have lost a big weapon there.

  • 26

I’ve never went against the Sharks on superbru, imagine my log….painfull, but even more painfull is my poor team’s losing streak….

Oh well, I’ll still support my team no matter what.

  • 27

22@ Puma – There is not a Highway or offramp that they’re Not working on…. it is terrible, fattup…. and I tell you, they’re not going to be finished in time for the Soccer WC.

This is what another blogger had to say on keo…

    ***************************************************************************************

To those of you who might be interested. I spent two or so hours at Loftus watching Pieter Rossouw put the Bulls backs through their paces, and I came away almost dumbfounded. They ran through probably 20 variations on set plays against the tackle bags and hardly missed a beat. The unique blend of innovation and freedom to play the situation in front of them, gave rise to plays that literally left me speechless.

If they can convert what they practiced to the match on Saturday, we are in for a treat. I just hope our tight 5 can match theirs and give the backs sufficient ball, and from what I saw vs the Stormers there is no reason why they shouldn’t. So if you dont have a ticket at Loftus for the 5 pm start, hurry up and get one!

    26@ Vuurtjie – Hello

  • 30

20 – GBS, I also say we need discipline but sometimes saying it that way to the players, it can backfire. They may just be too careful and not play their natural game. They must go out there and play their best. Don’t give away penalties but not to think about it the whole time.

Select the best players too. DON’T leave Deysel on the bench use him with Alberts and Kanko that loose trio would be aswesome. Like Morne said we need more strength there now rather than speed. With Deysel and Alberts we would have that.
