Thanks Sharky, At least we have a new thread up today. And it is a SHARKS THREAD 😀

I would have had Mvovo on the bench instead of Odwa. Maybe playing the Canes they need experience but we win or lose this game makes no difference to our S14 tourney this year. So would have gone with Mvovo on the bench.

Pleased to see Lambie starting again and also the same front row as last week.

Though Beast and Herbst on the bench. Must be planning on taking John and Jannie off at some stage.

Read there is going to be Gale Force Winds and Rain for Saturday. Have to play this game tight.

Hiyas puma bro ^5 hope all is well?
look i think the team looks good and as much as expected

as you can see they did not want to change a winning team, and botch changes in the starting lineup are forced

the front row might have slight niggles thus the 2 props on the bench

im a little worried with goode playing , ruan should have played 10 , nonu is gonna run at goode all day long

  • 4

    Sharky,

That headline shouldn’t read “Sharks looking for Contepomi” by any chance? I mean mos with your Argie tastebuds + backline problems et al?

  • 5

my gut feel is if the sharks can keep the game tight till about 20 min to go they can win and the jet lag might well assist the sharks

  • 6

    lol fender

would be a good addition , but hey we got one argie and look what happened
    they softies 😆

  • 7

Would be interesting to see Adi defend against big Canes centres running at him…

  • 8

I reckon that the Sharks are going to pip this one. It won’t be pretty though….

  • 9

    Goeie genade, Blouste!

Don’t tell me the “Adi can’t tackle campaign” is up and running again?

  • 10

will be a very tough game

if the refereeing can be a good as the sharks game last week then yeah sharks have a chance

  • 11

    Should be a close game…

I reckon the Canes are a better team at the moment, also think losing all their games in SA will still hurt and they will be fuming.

Travelling might catch up with them though…
But then again, Sharks might already be with one foot on the plane after a considerably bad tour…

    @ 8 fender

Yip, sorry but I don’t rate his defense…

  • 13

an aussie ref the the rest kiwi’s

well we can only hope he is fair along with the other officials

  • 14

    adi is still so so

I am afraid goode has no defence

  • 15

Well, good luck, will be good for SA if Sharks win !!!

    Predictio Thread up and running…

Goode-ness gracious, you might be right… He never had to defend before, in the English Premiership, the conditions are so bad, that wings come at you on a walking pace because of all the mud. Smit scrumming backwards is probably the fastest thing he has ever seen coming at him.

3 – Howzit Sharky, Yip a little worried about Goode there. Maybe should have Ruan. Then read the weather. Going to be Gale Force Winds with Rain. Goode can play it that kinda weather he is used to it. So hoping it pulls off. Is he not injured? Read he also had hamstring injury. Well read that in yesterdays paper.

If we keep it tight if the weather is bad we can pull a win off here. Our defence is good. Just saw a stat that Morne had done. Stormers have the best defence 2nd is the Sharks. So we need to play that kinda rugby to win this one. Hoping.

    23 – Cheers Blouste.

13 – Sharky, That is actually terrible news. Aussie refs have been the worst so far. Hope he refs fair for both teams. Don’t have a lot of hope now really.

Will we ever, ever get a South African ref in the tourney before it end? Though the kiwi ref last week was okay. Also the ref that reffed us against Saders was fine.
