This Cooper is running the game. Looks like pure class..
To add to the comment by GBS, just look what happened to Ludeke
Honestly Super and Gbs,what is your opinion of Ludeke?
I think he is a good player manager and gets the best out of them. I dont think he is technically that brilliant. But bringing the team together, letting the talent do their thing.
I’ve never been able to make up mind about him, because he has the best players at his disposal but so do the Sharks and look at their results.. He copped alot of abuse in 2008.
33@ Winnie – Having met Ludeke now and spoken to him a couple of times, I’ve changed my perception totally.
Ludeke fits the Bulls family mentality like a glove, and on top of it he’s a great man-manager.
He does not bullshit you in the news conferences, there is an open honesty….. and of course he now works with a plethera of stars and in a system which supports him 100%.
So Ludeke is good… and growing more each day as a coach.

Winston to add, another coach might just change too much there in the Bulls kraal, and derail them. So FL is the right man now, thats my view.
Reds 29 / 3
Bonus point is in the bag.
Thats interesting to hear Gbs because if you speak to 10 guys about what they think about him 5 will tell you one thing and 5 the other. What did they say to you last night about there defence?
Reds 36 / 3
At the end of the day he must be doing something right. Its true what you say, dont fix something if it aint broke..
That last try was pretty sick. Always enjoy tries off first phase possession.
39@ Winnie – After this game I will put a thread up with my Bulls match report which will include the press conference
Cool,am keen to see what it says.
Reds are not that 92-3 team anymore, and Force will fight with the Lions for the wooden spoon. Thats going to be a tough battle.
Lemoenetyd
To be fair, the Force have been obliterated with injuries at this stage of the season, something like 8 of the best players down and out. They’ll struggle to avoid the woodenspoon this year.
Cheers all,am off to gym and put petrol in my vintage, will be back for the cricket thread 🙂
I must say i enjoyed the Stormers game plan more than the Bulls one yesterday. They tackle very well, is it just accurate or do they meet the opponent early, a sort of rush defense?
Superbul 49 – I didn’t see either game, so I can’t comment on the specifics. However, if one side employs expedited line speed in defence, and they maintain their line, they will certainly make it difficult for the attacking side to get over the advantage line.

Scott Staniforth: the rugby player’s rugby player. A complete pro and I nice fellow. Came back from Europe to help the Force through their injuries crisis. Getting on a bit now, must be in his early 30s?
The SA derby game next week, Stormers vs Cheetahs, thats now something to look forward too.
This score must please you GBS, Superbru wise.
TRY to the Reds; shame, the Force winger tried to be smart and tapped down on his boot behind the line and tried to run, but passed to Higginbotham who scored in the corner – and now he’s been hooked off the field by Mitchell. Tough life, being a rugby player . . .
Nice moment between OÇonnor and Cooper.
Reds 43 / 10
58 The ball goes loose now in the Reds half and Cooper is away down the right hand touchline with only O’Connor coming across to tackle him and he does two goose steps but drops the ball after trying to be too cute. He can laugh about it though.
This is good rugby and a good spirit between the 2 teams as well.
