To all my fellow bloggers I  put to you this challenge…

Rudi as our webmonster is doing so much in effort and time to make this site a home for us, where we can visit and chat in fun laughter and sadness, which ever comes along.

My personal feeling is that we all should help grow our site and not just GBS.

Why can’t we all do some marketing amongst friends family etc? and in this way enlarge our data base which at the end of the day will be to our own advantage.

This site is not just for Bulls or sharks supporters etc but for all who love the banter and fun we have in here, I know there are some people who come in here feeling that their respective teams are not welcome here, this is NOT TRUE.

I as a Sharks supporter have always felt very welcome and enjoyed the banter with all, Irrespective of whom you support, so lets go and market amongst supporters from all teams and make our site more enjoyable.

My thoughts are that if we each found just one new member per week for lets say 6 weeks , we would have atleast another 200 members.

This challenge is not from Rudi but me as I feel many dont realise how much effort is put in to run a site like this, THIS IS OUR HOME  no matter who we support “COME LADIES AND GENTS LETS MAKE THIS SITE NO ONE”

Super, Boerboel is in Europe. He came here the otherday to tell us about how cold it is there with all the snow. Must be in Holland again for a bit.

7 – Fires, How you see our Sharks doing this Saturday? You think we can win this one? I somehow feel if we have the loose trio we all talk about and Mvovo there we in with a huge chance. Just another novice ref gets to me a bit.

13 – Hi Karen. I love my red wine as you know, but only on the weekend for me when I am working 😀

Have another very early start tomorrow. The traffic in Joburg believe me is NO JOKE..hahaha.

Only had to go 15km to a meeting this morning and it took me 2 HOURS to get there, insane really. They will never be ready for the world cup at this rate.

  • 16

meant when I am NOT working.

  • 17

Lol Puma – hey a glass of red wine every evening is good for the heart 🙂
Arghhh traffic – that sucks. Luckily I only need 20 minutes to get to work and luckily I don’t have to travel to CT cause that takes forever – the M5 intersection is still in progress but the roads will at least be ready for WC.

14 – Sharky, Charo spoke there last night out of his own. Said he come on here last night to read about the 1970 AB tour and really enjoyed this site a lot.

He has not blogged here but I know he said he read that last night and found it very interesting.

I go back and forward. I have some good mates on keo here now blog a bit on Sharksworld too. This is my home now for rugby blogging. I mostly blog here.

I like the articles. They are good and very different for the normal day to day rugby articles.

18 – hahaha. Ignore my rubbish English up there. I type faster than my brain I think 😀

  • 20

17 – Karen they say two glasses of red wine is good. I have a few glasses on the weekend. Must be a good red wine. I don’t drink the plonk stuff…..hahaha.

  • 21

Hahahaha – I also don’t do plonk – had enough Tassies when I was at Maties 🙂

  • 22

I think if Odwa and Keegan don’t start this weekend. We start with a loose trio of Deysle, Alberts and Kanko. Mvovo on the wing. Going to go for a Sharks win. I have only gone against them last week and they should have won that one. So going to pick Sharks by 5. Made up my mind.

Now can do my picks as know what I will pick for the other teams.

Sharks take a long time to put out their team selection.

  • 23

21 – Karen……hahahaha. Ja, you can tell the difference from a good red wine to plonk.

  • 24

Puma, I believe the Sharks can beat any team, hence why I’ve never went against them on superbru. I once again believe the Sharks will win this Saturday, get Alberts, Deysel and Kanko to start and the Brumbles will be in for a bruising.

Kanko is back to his old self, best 8 in the comp at the moment, Adi realy impressed me on Saturday, I was one of his biggest critics but he has shown me how good he once again can be. Hopefully oupa Blanche will run the ball this weekend and when he kicks it will find touch, not just the useless kicking we’ve been tortured with.

Sharks by 12-15….what can I say, I’m a never say die Sharks fan….GO SHARKSSS!!!!

  • 25

Mmmmm Puma I actually backed the Cheetahs against the Sharks on Superbru – sorry but I knew it was your bogey side 🙂 Think the Sharks should come back this weekend – well I damn well hope so because then they can help the Stormers as well 🙂

  • 26

lets hope puma mvovo is much faster

he does need to look for work more like jpp does

  • 27

Puma – Tassies is not the same Tassies from years ago. Ask Superbul and Boerboel about the great red wine we had when they we in Stellenbosch. Boerboel also has a finger in the pie at Rheebokskloof

A funny incident happened yesterday, someone “resigned” from here under the guise that there is a Anti-WP / Stormers sentiment or undrtone here.

Personally I think it is definaely not so, I certainly have not picked anything like that up.

I’d like to hear from anybody who feels that there is substance to that… mail me or say it here.

This blog strives to cater for SA supporters of all Franchises and in the words of many, they hsve found a home here without the turmoil present elsewhere.

What might be true is that we’re a little short on active bloggers from the Stormers, there certainly is enough of them registered. There are enough Bulls,Sharks and Cheetahs represented and we have a healthy overseas contingent as well.

I followed up on the allegation by phoning a guy like Polla and some others, including old Tjarky here and they maintain that there is no Anti-sentiment against anybody.

There has been critisism of the type of rugby played or coached by certain teams, but heck, that is how it is supposed to be.

Jy het die Lions vergeet 🙂

25 – Karen, If Sharks beat Brumbies, we could help Stormers for sure. Think the Bulls are safe bet from here. Then you never know injuries could came and that sort of thing. Brumbies could be up there for a semi. So if we could beat them that would help our other teams.

We could have won that game against the Cheetahs had Rory got his kicks over. Then that try from their FB, well for that alone Cheetahs deserved that win.

We should have won against the Chiefs. Too much going against us with the ref and then must say again the ref in the 2nd half with the Cheetahs was not up to it. Then las week well that was a bit much. We should have had a win there.

Well we don’t have any wins……haha. 0 that what we have, so if we could win on Saturday and also the two games in NZ that really would help out the Stormers for sure. As we play Canes in NZ. They could land up in the top four too.
