Think this is looking more and more ending in a draw, unless we make a break through and take a wicket. Somehow just don’t see it happen. Bell and Collingwood are well in now. New Ball been taken this will be a draw.
Going to have to play really well at Wanderers. Plenty thunderstorms up there this time of year too. Just don’t see us getting 5 days of play there without any interruptions from the rain. Probably end in a draw there too. Looks like we could lose this test series. Pity Smith never bowled first in Durbs. Still never understand why he chose to bat first when the first two days were forecast for overcast and rain. Should always bowl in those conditions. Ag, have to forget about that now.

629 – Ash, Just as I thought this time up in the highveld the weather is not that good. Well normally only thunderstorms but that can wipe out the crici.
WHY did Smith bat first in Durbs when the weather was going to be overcast the first two days with rain? So silly. That cost us that test. We batted in terrible conditions. Could all be square now and waiting for Wanderers. Or you never know if we had the good conditions to bat first we may have won that test. Who knows. Took only one good day of batting which was the Wednesday and England was batting on that day and batted superb.
