576 – Winson howzit mate. Steyn just took Trott clean bowled. Brilliant.

Now to get Collingwood that could have been gone but saved by the review.

  • 580

ok, we need to get collingwood now
he’s has a lot of experience of keeping an innings together

  • 581

    579 – Sorry meant Winston

  • 582

    578 – Ash 😆

  • 583

580 – Ash, Collingwood and Bell both can stay for a long time. Need to bowl well now one of them go we in with a huge chance of winning this test.

  • 584

    jeez, new ball almost due
hmmmm, if i was smith, i wouldnt take it right now
    harris is going very well
and steyn doesnt seem to have problems with the older ball

  • 585

    puma @ 583
    agree

  • 586

584 – Ash, Steyn needs to take that new ball. Probably needs to rest him now until we get it.

Pity that was not out with Collingwood awhile back with the review. We would be in the pound seats now.

Back in 20min Ash. Back to the tv.

  • 587

One or 2 more wickets before lunch would do nicely!!

  • 588

Ashley, thanks for the link. I have never seen Newlands Cricket ground before it looks beautiful bathed in sunshine with the mountains in the background!

  • 589

A.Donald saying Steyn should still be bowling right up to lunch.

I thought give Steyn a rest until the new ball. Then AD knows better than us all being the great fast bowler he was.

Then Smith bring Steyn back for a over before lunch and see if he can take a wicket. Steyn is bowling superb at the moment.

  • 590

Puma – we do not get the cricket on TV because Sky bought all the cricket matches and we dont subscribe to sky!!
WRS won’t have it!! (A bone of contention here)!

  • 591

    carol @ 588
pleasure. hope you dont mind though, that its a few overs behind the real action?

  • 592

590 – Carol, Shame on Sky then. We get it on DSTV our pay channel and also on our normal channel SABC 3.

You just going to have to hear it from us then.

Tell WRS what is up? Why no Sky TV? Just get it Carol you missing out on the sport.

Now hope my post goes through. Taking about 3 min to send a post. (And it is not my pc. Got it back repaired and working well) GBS what is up with the delay in posting?

  • 593

588 – Carol, Newlands is our most beautiful crici ground.

Brilliant weather there this time of year too. Told you to come over this time of year, especially for Cape Town. Mostly dry there now with full sun.

A guy joins a monastery and takes a vow of silence: he’s allowed to say two words every seven years. After the first seven years, the elders bring him in and ask for his two words. “Cold floors,” he says. They nod and send him away. Seven more years pass. They bring him back in and ask for his two words. He clears his throats and says, “Bad food.” They nod and send him away. Seven more years pass. They bring him in for his two words. “I quit,” he says. “That’s not surprising,” the elders say. “You’ve done nothing but complain since you got here.”

Two men were sitting next to each other at Murphy’s Pub in London. After awhile, one bloke looks at the other and says, ‘I can’t help but think, from listening to you, that you’re from Ireland ‘
The other bloke responds proudly, ‘Yes, that I am!’
The first one says, ‘So am I! And where about from Ireland might you be?’
The other bloke answers, ‘I’m from Dublin , I am.’
The first one responds, ‘So am I!’
‘Mother Mary and begora. And what street did you live on in Dublin ?’
The other bloke says, ‘A lovely little area it was. I lived on McCleary Street in the old central part of town.’
The first one says, ‘Faith and it’s a small world. So did I! So did I! And to what school would you have been going?’
The other bloke answers, ‘Well now, I went to St. Mary’s, of course.’ The first one gets really excited and says, ‘And so did I. Tell me, what year did you graduate?’
The other bloke answers, ‘Well, now, let’s see. I graduated in 1964.’
The first one exclaims, ‘The Good Lord must be smiling down upon us! I can hardly believe our good luck at winding up in the same place tonight. Can you believe it, I graduated from St. Mary’s in 1964 my own self!’
About this time, Vicky walks up to the bar, sits down and orders a drink.
Brian, the barman, walks over to Vicky, shaking his head and mutters, ‘It’s going to be a long night tonight.’
Vicky asks, ‘Why do you say that, Brian?’
‘Irish Devil and his twin brother are drunk again.’
