Morning all,
Overcast and it looks like it could rain too. Not good for the crici today. Our batsmen will struggle in these conditions.
176 – GBS, Throw that rubbish condensed milk in the bin. Can it….. 😆 Otherwise next year NO teeth at all. What you say? Condensed milk or teeth?
168 – Dipsy, Cape Town is a great place to be this time of year. Only the winters are not great there.
I felt the same about John’s book when I read it. A great read I thought and light hearted. He tells it straight and I liked that.
SA 221/5 Not bad. Batting well at the moment.
Go Bouch and AB. BAT boys. Do it for the rest of the team.
Hi Puma. Getting back to Durban this afternoon,am hoping to get to finally watch some cricket because have been tied up this side. The collapse to 5 down at stumps yesterday was disappointing but anything can happen in test cricket.
SA 249/6 AB just getting a boundary there.
185 – Winston howzit mate,
Overcast here but they batting not bad this morning. Better than I thought. So happy with the score at the moment.
Winston, I am back and forward to the tv and my study. So if I don’t answer back for a bit you know I am back at the tv.
179 – Junior…hehe. Good one 😀 Tell you Pa.
Super, I know you away for a nice weekend but I miss you posting with me during the cricket boet.
AB gets his 50. Nice well done AB. Morne batting well for now too. We should get 300 maybe more. Much better than I thought we would after our quick fall yesterday.
269/6
AB gone just after getting his 50.
Morne gets gets a boundary. 275/7
jis jis jis!!
wat gaat hier aan as hier niks aangaan nie?
Gou so bietjie op emails kom kyk om te sien wie het almal Krismis oorleef.
Ek sien AB is uit net na hy sy 50 gekry het, ai, hoop ons kan 300 maak…
howzit puma?
Harris gone. 280/7 Hang in there boys. Get that 300.
194 – KingPaul, Howzit boet. Pleased someone has logged on here. Been doing the updates here for myself 😀
We need to get to 300 I think.
LondonBul, Howzit, See you up there. Welcome never seen you here before mate.
281/8
Morne on 33 off 23 balls. Not bad for test cricket.
284/8
Lunch break.
Now hoping they can hang on for 300 or a bit more after lunch.
Looks like their bowlers are getting some nice pace there. So that is good news for Steyn and Morne when the come into bowl probably this afternoon.
Grrrrrrrrrrrr
‘Hi’ ! 😐
…..BonzaiGBS you had better arrive fully armed!!
You Dad sounds grumpy again!
201 – Carol, Just said hello to you on Voldy.
GBS, That Grrrrrrrrrrr does it mean you still in plenty pain with the tooth? Not nice boet. Only one more day to wait. Hope you get to see a Dentist tomorrow pronto in the morning.
Okay back a bit later. Going to get some lunch now.
Go Proteas. Morne batting well down the order there. Steyn needs to stay with him for as long as he can.
204 – Easier over here Puma, I have got guests for lunch so will just pop in and out as we get ready to see how we are doing at the cricket!
Lucky JL1, he will be going to a good match at Twickenham today although the rain here will spoil the experience slightly!
I think GBS is still a bit ‘under the weather’!!
Grrrrrrrrr, grrrrrrrrrrr, grrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Fark, went to the dentist today, not for me by the way but for Handbriekie……. because I’m at a place where pain does not matter anymore.
Found a lone dentist open in the East Rand… but far away in Alberton, I drove Handbriekie there…. they charge an extra R 1100.00 just for the call out because it’s Sunday 27 December, but she was in the demonic pain stage which I was at on Chrismas day, so we went.
Young female dentist, must be farking fresh out of Varsity doing the locum stint.
Takes X-rays and promptly tells Handbriekie that she’s got an absess in a tooth where they’ve already done root canals… so either the tooth has to come out or Handbriekie has to suffer through and wait for the moooooooooooosa strong anti-biotics to resolve the absess.
Now, neither of us are tjokkers here from the East Rand who are willing to have teeth extracted and walk around that way, so Handbriekie decided to keep the tooth… and wait for a decent dentist to have a proper look.
See, the same would have happened to me…. and I want my teeth to stay put where they are…. so I’ll feed the pain with some pain killers and get to a decent dentist tomorrow or day after if needs be.
The mood in the house is one of those…. everybody stays as far away from anybody else as possible…
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, grrrrrrrrrrrr, grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!
SA 285/9
Morne gone. Can we make 300? Not so sure now.
206 – GBS, Jeepers both of you with toothache? Just rather wait until tomorrow. See a decent dentist that knows what they are doing.
GBS, Ja hou daai tanne, anders gatit lyk djy skrie viri weepie.
Flok.
Hoekom is ons krieket so str.nt?
