328 – Dipsy,
Agree, Morne bowling well and with a bit of aggression. What is needed.
330 – Snoek, I think that is what they are waiting for, probably for Ntini to make the move to retire like Polly did.
Parnell is the man for sure. I like that youngster. Can get good swing. This is the test he really should have played in.
172/3
England going well at the moment.
As for Paul Harris …. what is with the cut off sleeves, peroxided shaggy look and that disgusting chewing in between sticking his tongue out? Looks like they just dragged him off the beach at the Bluff. Glad he is in our team though …. a good player that also looks like he wants to be there.
Outta here.
Enjoy the cricket guys and girls.
I’m not sure, after listening to interviews with Ntini he says that his body is strong and he feels like he is 18 still so think he’ll have to get dropped than him having to retire.. I think Parnell is the next big thing, provides variation with being left handed, can swing the ball and he can hold a bat 🙂
336 – Winston, I agree, Parnell is for sure the next big thing. I would have selected him for this test without a thought really. Especially Kingsmead. Would have suited his bowling well.
334 – Dipsy,
Harris is a gutsy bowler. Takes wickets which is what we need in tests.
Sticking his tongue out must be nerves, well I think 😀
335 – Cheers Snoek.
The thing is Parnell is only 20 so he can also be around for many years to come with Morkel and Steyn.
Okay need to go out. Cheers Winston and Dipsy. Hope to be back to see enough of the afternoon session.
Also hope we have taken Collingwood by that time too 😀
Catch up later.
I’m also off for a bit. Take care all.
340 – Winston, Spot on mate. I feel the same. If it was me I would have had no second thought would have selected Parnell already. Great bowler and will be for years to come.
Cheers mate need to go out for a bit. Hope to be back for the afternoon session.

Helloooooooooooooo
Have any of you ever heard Bill Cosby describe a visit at the dentist??
Well, half of my face has slid off and is lying in my lap…. I better not try and take a sip of water cause it will just dribble out of the useless side of the face….
Damn, I was No 17 of the day for the lone dentist, Dr Pieterse, a fellow Tukkies Old Fella…. waited at the dentist from 8:30 till about 12:30 before he could get to me… all of us sitting there, Emergency Cases.
I could see that some of the others, like me, had considered “Groendakkies” (The Madhouse), suicide, kidnapping a dentist from his house, taking serious serious recreational drugs and worse….
When a new face showed up at reception, there was the inevitable look of pity we all felt for the fellow-sufferer…. when one came out after treatment, one could see the pure relief on the faces and the renewed spring in the step.
I have never felt more grateful to feel the injection needle piercing the gums or to feel the squeal of the dentist drill going to work and smelling burnt tooth as he was drilling!
Damn, he had to perform a complete root canal on the one tooth and aferwards I booked a follow up appointment for 18 Jan 2010 to have other stuff done…
The good news is, the teeth are all safe and still there and will be available for sucking copious amounts of condensed milk, chewing and ripping mountains of biltong and chewing lots of sweets!!
Handbriekie is not so lucky….. her absess still has not cleared, her tooth ache is now at monsterous levels….. and they can do nothing till the absess goes…. because the root canals on that tooth has already been done….. not a happy place where she is at, at the moment!

Kallis to Collingwood, no run, safely negotiated, the new ball looms ever larger
Andrew McGlashan is jolly excited, and so am I as it happens, as he has finally got one of his preview predictions correct. “Christmas Day is his birthday and Durban will be his 50th Test match at the age of just 25. No better time, then, to silence the doubters with his tenth Test century.”
