Wales coach Warren Gatland has recalled experienced scrum-half Dwayne Peel for their game against the Wobbling Wallabies at the Millennium Stadium.

Peel (71 caps) is the only replacement from the team which beat Argentina 33 / 16 last weekend. Peel replaces Gareth Cooper.

On the bench, Martin Roberts replaces Peel. There is still no place for Tom Shanklin who was out with a broken nose.

It will be a milestone for captain Ryan Jones, who becomes the fifth Welshman to captain his country 20 times. In another milestone, Jonathan Thomas will be making his 50th international appearance, should he come on as a replacement.

Wales have beaten Australia twice and registered a draw in their last six meetings, and looks like a well balanced side. Warrent Gatland expects that Australia will have a point to prove after they narrowly lost to Scotland last weekend and drew with Ireland the week before that.
Wales:

James Hook, Leigh Halfpenny, Jamie Roberts, Jonathan Davies, Shane Williams, Stephen Jones, Dwayne Peel, Ryan Jones (captain) Martyn Williams, Andy Powell, Luke Charteris Alun-Wyn Jones, Paul James, Matthew Rees, Gethin Jenkins.

Replacements: Huw Bennett, Duncan Jones, Jonathan Thomas, Dan Lydiate, Martin Roberts, Andrew Bishop, Tom James.

Come on Wales, whack the ‘wobblies’…..If the Scots can do it, you can do it!

WRS will be there cheering Wales on…..!!

I think that the Taffy’s will win.

It’s one of those games that can go either way. I will wait on the team sheet of the wobblies before i give a call.

Unbelievable how badly a team can perform. As a Wallaby fan, I can only say the result of the weekend’s match is in the hands of the gods, because it certainly isn’t in the hands of Robbie Deans & Co!

Nonetheless, as dedicated fans, we’ll likely just soldier on, and on, and on, and on!!

Quade Cooper to play 10, Giteau 12 – a strategic move (call it what ever they like!)

    2 – Loosehead.

I think Oz will beat Wales this weekend. Remember they drew with Ireland and I think Ireland are a better team.

    Oz by anything from 3/9
