We understand that the Ex-Bok scrumhalf will be loaned out by Western Province to the Ospreys for two weeks.
He will be available in December and January for the Welsh outfit. Apparently the idea is believed to give Januarie some valuable playing time before next year’s Super 14.
Januarie experienced a sub-standard season this year after he lost his place at the Stormers and Western Province to young Dewaldt Duvenage.
Januarie is classified as one of the players that has not had enough playing opportunities this year.
He now has the chance to regain his best form and self-confidence in the company of established international players such as Tommy Bowe, Lee Byrne, Jerry Collins, Gavin Henson, James Hook, Duncan Jones, Adam Jones, Alun-Wyn Jones and Shane Williams.
If speculation is to believed, Januarie could still play a big role for the Stormers in 2010 in a backline which should include Bryan Habana and Jaque Fourie.
Ek hoop die McDonalds in Wallis gaan opstock vir die 2 weke!
Ek dink wel dat hy regtig gametime kort – kan nie lekker wees om ‘n hele jaar op die bench deur te bring nie!
#1 Ex Player,
Ja, the big Mac just got bigger due to public demand. But I don’t think its down to a burger fixation; I’m just glad that you can’t get a decent Salomie and relaxed chips in Wales…
Het nie geweet dat hulle mechanics nodig gehad het nie 🙂
