Aaron Mauger will lead out Leicester Tigers for the historic match against South Africa at Welford Road on Friday evening.

The New Zealander international lines up at fly-half for a fixture arranged to officially open the new Caterpillar Stand.

Academy prospects Andy Forsyth and Manu Tuilagi combine as the centre partnership, and Ben Youngs starts at scrum-half.

The forward pack features the eight who started last Saturday’s Guinness Premiership win over Northampton Saints, including young lock Calum Green who made his first senior start in that game.

New signing Lote Tuqiri is also included in the 22 after the Australia international wing arrived earlier this week and hooker George Chuter is also named among the replacements.

Head coach Richard Cockerill takes the opportunity to rest Anthony Allen and Jeremy Staunton who have started all nine games in league and cup so far this season.

Richard Blaze, Harry Ellis, Toby Flood, Geordan Murphy, Billy Twelvetrees, Sam Vesty and Ben Woods are ruled out by injury.

Friday’s game is a 24,000 sell-out. Live coverage is being shown on Sky Sports 2 and on Supersport 1.

    118 Ja Snoek.

Sou darem lekker gewes het as SA 14 kompeterend spanne gehad het. Of selfs net 8. As al die oorsese spelers in Sa gespeel het…n man kan droom!

#116 Die wiel draai altyd…moenie worry nie…”If you built it..they will come”!!

120# Agteros kom ook in die kraal. hehe
Polla, hoe dink jy lyk dinge vir julle volgende jaar? Gaan die Stormers weer n krag wees soos 2008?

  • 124

Weet iemand waar Pietman homself nou bevind?

  • 125

  • 126

Ouens, laat ek eers groet. Ek moet aan die werk spring.
    Praat weer later.

  • 129

Ek moet ok eers weer gaan. Praat later.

    130 Polla
