Hell we blew that last game, some we conspire to lose games like that. We are the Cricket chokers for sure.

24 – superbul – We are used to such different types of landscapes, the drive from Joberg airport to Pretoria was the most arid landscape I have ever travelled through. It was so shrivelled….could not imagine how it could sustain any life either human or animal!!
You would have to know it to love it I think!

Proteas 2/0 after the first over. Good bowling there by Engand.

  • 34

31 – Super all we needed was 2 runs. We should have batted better in that last over. Then the rains was coming down really hard in the previous over and that is when the game should have been called off. Then we were 2 runs ahead on the DWL method.

    32- Carol,

It is very, very dry up there in the winter. Semi desert. We don’t get any rain for 5 months in the winter.

Now there are thunderstorms almost everyday and it will be very green up there now.

    27 – OK, back later…..

Puma, get practicing for your first article!! 😉 Sorry, you are not boring so that is a hopeless excuse!!

  • 37

35 – Puma, GBS said as we left the airport that ‘the area does not look at its best’!! It just looked so different to anything I am used to! Namely lots of greenery!

    See you for now….
    Come On England….

  • 39

GS just hit 3 4’s in a row.

  • 40

37 – Carol, the higveld in the winter never looks good. It is semi desert that time of year. No rain. Just full sun for about 5 months. Every goes brown and very dusty. The summer is very different with the thunderstorms. You have to one day experience a Joburg thunderstorm. AWESOME. You need to have a strong heart thought 😆

Sorry back and forward from the study to my tv.

  • 41

another typo there sorry. meant highveld.

  • 42

GS on fire here. Another two 4’s in a row there. Keep it up captain.

  • 43

    Smith playing some good shots.

  • 44

    SA is flying!

  • 45

6 from Bosman. Openers are going great fire there.

  • 46

18 off that last over. Proteas 69/0 after 6 overs.

  • 51

Great to see England geting whacked about.

  • 52

48 – Pill, Howzit, GS and Bosman are wacking them everywhere..hehehe.

  • 53

40@ Puma – Carol was Skyping me the other evening and could hear the Thunder and lightning here on our side… but she has yet to experience such an electric storm… foreigners and people from the Cape are shit-scared of weather like that…

  • 54

25 from that over. Bosman just hit two 6’s in a row. Brilliant over. England may have to chase down a massive total.

  • 55

53 – GBS, There is NOTHING quite like a thunderstorm up in the highveld. It is awesome. For foreigners they crap themselves……hehehehe. We are made of tough stuff being born up there….. 😉

  • 56

If England don’t take a wicket soon. We could end up with over 250 here 😯

  • 57

116/0 after 9 overs. The openers are playing superb.

Why was Bosman not part of the tour to Oz? He is awesome to watch with GS.

  • 58

How brilliant is this. GS has 75 off of 36 balls. Brilliant stuff from our captain. Bosman 51 off of 26 balls. Brilliant too.

  • 59

GS on 86 from 41 balls. Now Bosman hits another boundary. 153/0 and not even 12 overs yet 😆

    Sorry Carol.

Bosman hits another 6 Go you good thing……hehehe

    170/0 after 13 overs.
