This year, the B-Factor is the buzz for the SA Rugby Awards. Heinrich Brüssouw and a host of Bulls players and Bokke players dominate the Nominations.
Heinrich Brüssow, one of the stars of the 2009 season, has been nominated 5 times and heads the list of nominees with three of his Springbok team-mates for awards to be made at the SA Rugby Player of the Year banquet which will take place at a glittering event at Vodaworld, Midrand, on Monday, November 2.
Apart from Brüssow, Fourie du Preez (4), Springbok captain John Smit (3) and Morné Steyn (3) have also been nominated for multiple awards.
In addition, Peter De Villiers and Paul Treu, the 2 National coaches of the 15-man and 7-man codes respectively, are rewarded as nominees for coach of the year.
It will be difficult to decide some of the winners in the categories, for instance, as Teams of the year there is the triumphant Super 14 winners, The Bulls, but also the Springboks, who won both the B & I Lions Tour and the Tri-Nations.
All the nominees are carefully chosen and deserve their honours.

@Ed_the_Lion – 3/4
HKG :poop:
12@Ed_the_Lion – net as die Blou Leeus wen !
@grootblousmile – Hellooooo….you there?
16@carol – No, I’m not here… hiehie
14@bdb –
15@dWeePer –
Moet se, ek sal Juries die toekenning gee. Sy drie was uitstekend.
@grootblousmile – What else do I say? “Is there anybody there?
Then that sounds as though I am trying to summon a spirit!! :ghost: 😀
@Supa Die Bloubul – Hiyas Supa, did you have a beautiful day in the smoke today? 😎
@grootblousmile – Have you skyped from your new notebook yet?
20@carol – Tomorrow I’m going to make these smileys bigger… eishhhhhhh my eyes are super-kak !

The name De Wet Barry, is his name “De” ?
@carol –
Hi Carol! Were in the office the whole day…didnt notice anything!
Did you see the Baabaas players we are gonna watch? Matfield, Bakkies, Habana, FDP, Gitay, Mortlock, Hernandez, Evans etc. I cant wait!
@grootblousmile – 23 you could always put your glasses on!! :chic: You look cute in them!
26@carol – No… De Wet
De Wet is actually a surname…. so he’s got a surname as a name and a name as a surname, if you understand what I mean….
18 @Supa Die Bloubul – WP waag met ‘n nuwe man op binnesenter, so dit kan reg of weg wees.
