    For sure maar ek het vir die convicts gestem op superbru maar my hart se Vittori en sy manne moet wen!!!

    Breaking news – Daniel Vettori has pulled a hamstring and will not play. He is being replaced by Jeetan Patel. Brendon McCullum will captain New Zealand. Australia are unchanged. That is massive bad news for New Zealand. Vettori has been superb this series. Terrible blow.

    @Tripples – Oh no , now my superbru chance is gone. Come on NZ play for your captain, one big united effort.

    Yes I am afraid so…dink eintlik Mc Cullum het meer killer instinct as Vittori, hy is te nice guy……so miksiein is dit goed….ek het heeltemal teen my inbors en my sin vir die blerrie convicts gevote op Superbru 🙁 🙁

    14.00 Toss time. Ricky Ponting flips, McCullum calls heads and heads it is. New Zealand have won. McCullum opts to bat on what he says is a pretty good pitch. The idea is to put pressure on Australia and McCullum fancies New Zealand’s chances. “We have immense belief,” he says despite the hamstring pull to Vettori, who apparently carried the niggle in the semi-final.

    Big time. Oz is right on top here. Pity really thought the final would have been more competitive.

  • 18

    NZ hanging in here. If these two can keep their wickets their maybe something to bowl at. Score could end up around 240.

  • 19

    @Puma – after wickets meant there

  • 20

    NZ 175/8 Damn wont make that score now. Lost 3 quick wickets. Still 6 overs left.

  • 21

    Puma they are struggling , will be over quickly tonight

  • 22

    @superBul – 21

    Oz 6/2 Maybe game on……LOL.

  • 23

    Go Black Caps.

  • 24

    Bond bowling really well here. Take another wicket or two and Oz will panic.

  • 25

    Brendon McCullum is the rotten apple tonight, the whole captaincy thing was too hot too handle for him.

  • 26

    Butler to White, 1 run, dropped! White goes to pull a shorter ball and makes a meal of it, all wrong with the balance, and the ball flies up off the shoulder of the bat very, very high to the leg side, McCullum runs across to his left but fails to catch it, it was hard because it was spiraling but he needed to pouch that

  • 27

    @superBul – 26

    That was a huge error by McCullum not to catch that ball. Could have had Oz under pressure there.

    Think its all sailing for Oz from here. Pity after the brilliant bowling by Bond and Mills.
