Cheetahs coach Naka Drotske has made 5 changes to the Cheetahs team to play the Boland this weekend. In a surprise move the coach has favoured Bulls discard Danwel Dames to the in form Fabien Juries.

Other changes see the return of Springbok Brussow, Coenie Oosthuizen shifting froom Loosehead to Tighthead in place of the very promising WP Nel, Tewis de Bruyn replacing JP Joubert and the injury enforced  selection of the pedestrian Loius Strydom at flyhalf. Although there has been a bit of rain in the Cape today, the forecast for the rest of the week and into the weekend is for sunny skies and temperatures around the 20 degree mark.

Freestate team is as follows:

15 Hennie Daniller, 14 Danwel Demas, 13 Corné Uys, 12 Meyer Bosman, 11 Jongi Nokwe, 10 Louis Strydom, 9 Tewis de Bruyn, 8 Ashley Johnson, 7 Frans Viljoen, 6 Heinrich Brüssow, 5 David de Villiers, 4 Nico Breedt (c), 3 Coenie Oosthuizen, 2 Richardt Strauss, 1 Wian du Preez.
Subs: 16 WP Nel, 17 Izak van der Westhuizen, 18 Hendro Scholtz, 19 Kabamba Floors , 20 JP Joubert, 21 JW Jonker, 22 Fabian Juries.

Why Drotske is playing Demas instead of Juries is a mystery. Demas has not been in the greatest form, while Juries has been outstanding.
