The Currie Cup promotion / relegation match between Boland and the Pumas took place today at Boland Park, Wellington. Boland won the match by a whisker, 36 / 35.
The match and the other relegation match showed that there is not much between the bottom 2 Currie Cup Premier Division sides and the top 2 sides in the Currie Cup First Division.
The match see-sawed with both teams leading from time to time, the Boland snatching their narrow win close to full-time.
The stand-out player for Boland was Zandré Jordaan, who also scored a brace of tries.
The stand-out player for the Pumas was Allister Ketteldas, who also crossed the try-line twice.

Hello Boomie en Oomie Tjarkie_fornever
Hello GROOTBLOUOOG mwahhhh to you to.
They lucky they not playing here the outside temp in the shade is 35. UNBEARABLE.
Eishhhhhhhh we had a big hail storm here yesterday, quite big hail stones…
My office roof is a flat roof and the hail pelleted down on places where I’d sealed the roof with a membrane and a rubber-like sealant…
The hail fell so hard it tore dents and tears into the membrane in about 40 odd places…. my office leaked like hell and I had to have buckets everywhere… and I lost one 19″ Monitor due to water damage…
Today I’ve got to climb on the roof, once again and re-seal the bugger… before I have more damage…
6@ Boomninny – Why thank you, that was smack bang on the chops…. hehehe
sorry about that blou knatters , yeay pretoria the weather was very heavy too
10@ Tjarky_Fornever – Let me go do the sealing work before the rugby… see you guys later.
cheers bro catcha laters
It was my pleasure sir. I hope we dont get that hailstorm here later today and judgeing by this weather and all the thunderheads starting to build up who knows, but could be worse could be while the the bulls/chetahs game is on and we loose signal.

14 – Sharky.. LOL.
Good Grief, feel the ‘love’ and it’s only lunchtime!!………..
It would be very convenient if the Currie Cup was today as it is pouring with rain here!!!
Hellooooooo
ESPN Classic is showing the infamous “Flower-Bomb” Test between New Zealand and the Bokke in 1981…. 3rd Test of the series, I think.
Lobberts, Hoffman, Vermaas en Van Niekerk is spelers wat deur die Bulle se junior strukture gekom het.
GBS – So infamous I have no idea what you are talking about?
22@Carol – Protesters against the Springbok Tour (because of the Apartheid Policy), dropped many flower bombs on the rugby pitch from a plane, time after time… while the game was on…
Was a very difficult time for the Bokke, they had to sleep in the change rooms in the stadium before and after the match…
23 That must have been a nightmare for them……
I see a row is kicking off about the non issue of Springbok Blazers to some new players come up to the NH to play!
They never look like they fit properly anyway…..!!
How are your gutters now? Its all going on in Brakpan!!
VRYSTAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT! Are not playing today. But they will be next week Saturday.
24 @ Carol – I was on the roof… swept it properly (there was a lot of tree debris and leaves on the roof)….. sealed all the damaged portions again…. looks like it might rain later, so we’ll see if it is fixed now again…
Game on…
25 Loosehead, so whats the plan in the Cheetahs win?
Tryyyyyyyy Pumas Hyron Thyse
