Friends, Romans, Countrymen….. lend me your rugby ears…. Rugby-Talk has performed miracles in it’s short life span.

We’ve only been on air for a month and a half, approximately, yet yesterday we had already passed the 30 000 comments barrier… can you believe it !!

That means we AVERAGE more than 500 comments a day, with no let up.

We achieve over 5000 Internet page impressions a day on a continual basis.

Our membership is continually growing and ALMOST ALL our registered Users fall under the category of ACTIVE bloggers. We have already exceeded the 130 Registered Bloggers mark, without ANY attempt to go big or launch any marketing strategy.

We run virtually without incident here, except for the odd deletion of a wayward comment !

We have excellent Authors here, totalling 15 … with some of the best content you will find anywhere.

Control is solid, security is something other blogs can only dream of, tollerance is experienced here… this is a friendly yet diverse site, which is a safe haven and home for all.

We have affiliated with a number of the Rugby Unions in SA and we have only received favourable feedback.

It warms the cockles of my heart that we have done so well, far beyond what we have hoped for !

I thank you, I salute you !

Goooooooooi Mieliesssssssssss !!

    @AB
    Daai skilpadjies soek n Cabernet saam, moosa ryk.
    Maar lekwar man, soos jy se!
    Daai antie op Calvinia waar ek afval koop maak die vetderm so, met gestopte lewer en niertjies.

    Flok, ek weet nie eers of ek more by braai gaan uitkom nie. My girl wil hê ons moet more Hoermanus toe hier anderkant Sir lowriepoes vir ‘n lang naaiweek.
    A well, wie’s ek dan om te keer. Sal seker snoek daai kant ook kry.

    @isigidi – Oeps, paar spelfoutjies ingeglip met my vorige comment. Haal maar uit GBS/Ed as dit nie lekker afgaan. Sorry 🙂

    Weet jy wat gaan lekker saam met skilpadjies? Ina Paarman se chilli en garlic spice. En dan bietjie aromat net voor jy hom afhaal. Dan sit ek vars suurlemoene oor om die ergste vet optebreek.
    Soos Pietman sê, dan moet jy genoeg rooiwyn he om te keer dat daai vet in jou keel hard word.

    @Puma
    Hello bru.
    Saw an interstin program on CNN, about Puma and Adidas.
    You must google it.
    Both companies were started by the Dassler brothers in Germany, and then a family feud erupted.
    It only ended now, 60 years later, after their death, when the sons took over…..
    Puma employees for instance weren’t allowed to mix with, marry, date or whatever anyone from Adidas, the factory was on the other side of the river in this small town.
    Dassler brothers are buried in different parts of the local cemetry, as stipulated in their will…..

    When I used to do marathon running remember Puma and Adidas used to be huge brand names in running shoes. Then came Nike and all the rest.

    Pietman
    Daar was ‘n slagter op Robertson. Hy is nou al so paar jaar terug oorlede. Sy van was Beeselaar. Weet nie of jy hom ken nie, maar daai oom het een aand saam met ons gaan springers terk, toe bring hy ‘n paar stukke lewerwors (pofadder as ek reg onthou?) daaraan. Het my self namoer ge-eet aan daai goed. Ander lekker ding, nou dat ons aan die kos gesels is, is allikruk koekies!

    @Puma

  • 198

    @KingPaul – ek gooi robertsons sout en asyn spice op en baie van dit met yskoue coke niks winhoek as ek eet nie

  • 199

    @Puma – Nee man, snoek het glad nie so baie grate nie, en gewoonlik is dit sulke lekker laaaang dikkes, terk sommer maklik uit as die snoek eers klaar is.
    Anders maak jy so ek, as die snoek klaar is, dan mol jy vir die pens!!!

    @KingPaul
    Dis hy, ‘pofadder’.
    Tannie van Niekerk by Calvinia Slaghuis maak dit, my pa koop altyd daar, en die afvalle.
    Dan hou hy tot ek huistoe kom, vreet ek my vrek, met die Roodeberg en ander wyne saam…
    Jy onthou nog vir Gert Nel van Klipwerf Boereorkes, hy het het laas vir my klomp gebring.
    Hy kom elke jaar af daar na pa toe.

  • 203

    @KingPaul – 199

    Hello ou maat. For me snoek is loaded with tiny bones and just so damn hard to take out even after its cooked.

    My sister and brother live in Cape Town and they always have snoek braais but them bones boeta put me off.

  • 204

    @smallies72 – 202

    You are right. That is the only way otherwise I cant get them bones out 😆

  • 205

    @Puma
    Just pull them out, or if you happen to get one stuck in your throat, just swallow it down with a chunk of potbread and a glass of Cabernet, easy as that 🙂

  • 209

    @Pietman – hehehe. Cabernet sorts out a lot of stuff Piet 😀 Its my favourite. Nothing better than a really good red wine. 😆

    That always happens to me when eating snoek a bone or 4 get stuck in my throat so it puts me off of eating it. I love snoek its just the bones.
