From the official Press release by the Blue Bulls, we can announce that the coach of the Vodacom Blue Bulls, Frans Ludeke, has selected Chiliboy Ralepelle, Gurthrö Steenkamp and Wynand Olivier in his starting XV for Saturday’s Absa Currie Cup clash in Wellington against the Boland Cavaliers.
The Cheetahs have announced their Team to play the Sharks this weekend.

The departure of Chris Jack and the injuries to Fondse and Van Zyl, has come at an unfortunate time in view of other teams being bolstered by their returning Boks. The Springboks completed a 2009 Tri-Nations WHITE-WASH over the All Blacks and claimed the Tri-Nations title for 2009 by beating their rivals 32 / 29 in a thrilling match which went right to the wire.
Lions get an ugly 5 Log points.
A 50+ score looked up for grabs when the Lions scored their bonus point try in the 31st minute. This however was not the case as their wheels came off after that. The Leopards started playing with more composure and made life difficult for the Lions at scrum time. Continue reading
The Boland Cavalliers took on the Griquas this afternoon at 15:00 at Boland Park, Wellington. The Griquas scored 5 tries, earning their bonus point for tries and continue to march towards a possible semi-final. They won 31 / 23.
Week 10 of the 2009 Currie Cup is on the doorstep, with 2 matches today (Friday) and 2 matches tomorrow (Saturday). The 2 easy matches to predict is scheduled for today, the 2 difficult matches for tomorrow.
