The Currie Cup Match between the Boland Cavaliers and the Sharks took place at Boland Park, Wellington, SA at 15:30 local time, with the Sharks winning with ease, 48 / 3.

The Sharks scored 8 tries in demolishing Boland as they notched up yet another win to stay top of the Currie Cup Log.

This was the Sharks second win from the scheduled two outings aginst Boland, the previous encounter at ABSA Stadium, Durban having ended in a 46 / 10 win for the Sharks.

Boland held on bravely at the start of the match but faded more and more as the match progressed. After 20 minutes gone, the score was already 12 / 0 in favour of the Sharks.

To be honest, nobody expected Boland to worry their much stronger counterparts and the end result was totally expected.

Boland even managed to score a solitary penalty in the First Half and with a score of 19 / 3 at Half time, some harsh words must have been spoken in the Sharks camp… this was simply not good enough against the lowly Boland.

After Half time the Sharks came out firing and continued the pressure right until the final whistle, running in 6 tries in the Second Half.
