Today we had the much awaited match between the Wallabies and the Springboks, taking place at the Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane. The Wallabies won convincingly, 21 / 6
The Wallabies came out firing from the first whistle, playing the better game, throughout the match. They scored first, through a Giteau penalty and stayed in front right to the end.
Initally it was trading penalties and drop goals and a hard physical battle. The Wallabies scored two tries, first by Ashley Cooper, and then near the end, one by James O’Conner.
The Springboks never crossed the allabie try line.
One important record was achieved by Morne Sten, becomming the Bok player to score the fastest 100 points in the history of the game, beating the record Jannie de Beer, who (Jannie) scored his 100 from 9 Tests.

Gelukkig is Giteau uit, voet op die lyn
Jacobs damn what the bloody hell was he thinking.
Looks like we have lady luck on our side today…
@carol –
The guys opposite him, the enemy!
Die ref gee die aussies totale vryheid by die afbreekpunte. Dieselfde geld nie vir die bokke nie.
The Boks are lucky to still be in this game!
Get Adi Jacobs off and bring on Frans Steyn.
Try Ashley Cooper… oi
Fark…now we are in shit.
It was just a matter of time. They are all over us.
I keep holding my breath, I may faint in a moment!!
Now an Aussie try……..arghhhh
Mossie missed him…
Come Boks…its not too late!
We should slow it down. They trying to run us off our feet and we are allowing them too do just that.
@Supa Die Bloubul – 364 – Only had eyes for ‘Heath’ 😉
Flok, this is not how the script goes…….
3 knocks on’s in 8 seconds!
Fark, now it’s going all pear-shaped
If they kick this over, the game might be gone…we need two tries then.
@grootblousmile – I am not enjoying this now!! 🙁
They are all over us…game played in our half now..
Die Aussies jol ons dood vandag.
@Supa Die Bloubul – 379
We played right into their hands. Should have been playing 10 man rugby here and keeping it tight.
Too late now think we going to struggle in Hamilton. Guys going to be far too tired there.
@Journo-Lion – 363 Then again perhaps not! 😉
@Journo-Lion – They running us off our feet and we just allowed them to play like that. Should have slowed it down. Played it tight.
Pressure on us now to score a try.
Also Barnes has kept them in.
We need to get out of our half !!
Fark !!
Geez….only one team on the park!!
We need a bonuspoint at least….
Ndugane is not Bok material…
