The All Blacks, at home convincingly beat the Wallabies in the last Tri-Nations Game of 2009. All Blacks won 33 / 6 and the Wallabies won the WOODEN SPOON in the Tournament for 2009.
The All Blacks started strong, with clear intention to be on the come-back trail, dominating the first 6 minutes… also clearly intent on not kicking too much but rather running everything at the Wallabies.
The Wallabies fought back and took an early penalty lead but the All Blacks levelled the scores soon thereafter.
It was an exchange of penalties till the Cory Jane try, from an up-and-under kick.
The All Blacks went into Half Time 16 / 6 up.
The All Blacks intensified pressure and played the smarter game in the Second Half, denying ANY SCORE from the Wallabies. The All Blacks racked up 2 more tries, one from Ma’a Nonu and a last try from a swan-diving Joe Rokococo right at the death.
The All Blacks stood up well in all tight phases, Richie McCaw led from the front and for once, nothing worked in the Wallabie game plan.
The All Blacks showed determined and dogged defence and it is still clear that the All Blacks puts a great Premium on being among the best in World Rugby.
The New Zealand commentators expressed the fact that the Springboks deserved their Tri-Nations win.
Is it any coincidence that the IRB No 1 ranked Team won the Tri-Nations, the No 2 ranked Team came second and the No 3 Team came third ? I don’t think so !
Well done All Blacks, on this win.
Well done to another successfully completed Tri-Nations, the Premier International Competition, after the World Cup !

Helter skelter game by ABs
3 / 3
The AB’s lineouts still in a mess.
All Blacks 6 / 3
Lets hope that these two teams keep playing this headless chicken rugby. Structured rugby will more often than not beat them.
Aussies are gifting the game to the AB’s. Far too many penalties.
All Blacks 9 / 3
AB scrum under pressure.
WALLABIES MOET NET NIE TE VER AGTER RAAK NIE , HULLE SPEEL GEWOONLIK 2DE HELFTE BETER
44 @superBul – moenie skree nie, ons kan hoor. 😉
Big difference between the Convits and AB’s is that the Convicts have no problem kicking the ball out. AB’s would rather run as their lineout is shit.
Yellow card, and there kak’s my decoder.
Funny how when the Boks kick up and unders and score tries it is boring rugby, but when the Kiwi’s do the same it is brilliant football.
Game over.
@grootblousmile – Corey Jane.
Corey Jane

Invite mates to your pool
The game is obviously way more fun if you’re joined by a bunch of your friends (whom obviously you will thrash). Follow the instructions on the invite mates pages to get going.
The pool code for Talkers @ R-T is junkbass
Nie noodwendig as hul ver weg is nie.
Surely that is a deliberate nock down and it should be a penalty?
