The Barbarian Rugby Club have named some of the World’s best players, to take on the All Blacks on 5 December 2009. South African stars, Victor Matfield and Bryan Habana joins Matt Giteau, Stirling Mortlock and Juan Martin Hernandez as part of the squad to take on the All Blacks on 5 December 2009 at Twickenham.
Micky Steele-Bodger, president of the Barbarians said that the Team will be coached by Nick Mellett, asisted by Alan Solomons.
Nick Mallett has played for the Barbarians during his time as a player and Alan Solomons has been involved with the Barbarians before.
The most classic game between the Barbarians and the All Blacks took place in 1973 and there’s always been a special relationship and rivalry between the All Blacks and the Barbarians.
The rest of the members of the Barbarians squad will be announced as the confirm their participation for the scheduled match.
Barbarian rugby is reknowned for their attacking and running rugby and every Barbarian match provides some of the most exciting rugby of the season.

Actually I paid to see Percy play in the last Barbarians fixture at Wembley and got short changed as he went off at half time!
