I gave high ratings, because any Bokke Team who beats the ALL BLACKS deserves high ratings.

I felt that Jean de Villiers missed a cuple of tackles, that being the reason why he scores lowest of the bunch.

I did not consider or rate any of the subs because none of them were on long enough to be rated.

Brussouw was a MACHINE again today

    Morne Steyn was dead-eye Dick.

    Mossie was outstanding.

    Bakkies was brutal

    Vic was the line-out maestro

Fourie du Preez was the Master Tactitian, like usual

    Juan tackled like a demon

    Beast was a beast

Frans Steyn has finally found his position at Fullback

    John Smit was Captain Courageous!

What a group of talented and dedicated boytjies !

Guys how the hell can we find place for Schalk Burger again, surely HB showed us we NEED a fetcher, and hope that Stegman take up the challenge , to emulate Heinrich.

  • 4

Vandag se span was perfek.

Ek sien dat Ruan se plek nou weer skrummie is, daarom in n perfect world sonder kwotas sal ek hom as reserwe 9 kies.

Ek weet julle sal begin moerig raak oor my 30 games vir JS , maar rerig daar was moer baie ondersteuning vir Gary Botha in daai tyd. Die res ken julle.

As Jacobs ten volle fiks is like EK hom.

Bekker kan ver f off wat my betref, Danie Roussouw is my man.

As Brussouw moet seerkry vandag, kies ek Stegmann, want hy vervul dieselfde rol as Brussouw.

Chilli is n kwota.

Net soos Shimange destyds.

Bismarck, JS, Straus, ander Strauss, Tiaan, Kuun is almal beter.

Teen hierdie tempo gaan hy Percy se rekord breek, 103 toetse in 120 minute….

For the second Saturday in succession, All Blacks skipper and flanker Richie McCaw refused to offer excuses, praising the current Bok team as among the best he has faced in a long career.

“These guys are right up there among the best I have played against. We made too many mistakes just as we did last weekend. The ball was coming back too slow which left us flat footed.”

    My Ratings

    Rock must go 3/10
Mils was crap, has he forgotten that he’s allowed to kick the ball? 4/10
Sivi was sublime, then shocking. A real mixed bag for him tonight 4/10 half the time, 8/10 the other half
Smith and Nonu went alright Both 6/10
Donald was very average, Kicked his goals, but looks like hes shitting himself when he’s underneath a bomb 5/10
Cowan kept on trying those stupid little kicks over the top, that time and time again didnt come off 5/10
Rodders hands let him down, and he isnt the force at the breakdown he used to be 4/10
McCaw was outplayed by Brussouw, 2nd week running, but tackled well 5/10
    Kaino. Just Stupid Play 3/10
Ross went alright I thought. Sin binning was a joke, and took his try well 6/10
Thorn was solid, if a little quiet. 5/10
Hore’s throwing was shit, again, did nothing in the loose 4/10
Woodcock and Franks lost the scrum battle I thought, although they improved as the game went on 5/10

Jane, should have been on the field early into the second half for Joe Rok, but wasnt
Luke went alright, big boot for his penalty, looks to take it on himself a bit too much though, and his pass is very floaty 6/10
Weepu, went alright, I would like to see him start next match 6/10
    Read, solid. 5/10
    Eaton. Didnt get on
Mealamu, lively in the loose, not great throwing, but an improvement on Hore’s. Should start next match 6/10
Afoa. Some Scrums after he came on were very solid, some were very wobbly. Mixed bag 5/10

    Cartel’s Tactics 3/10
Why did they insist on running it from everywhere?!?!?!? Last year in Sydney, same tactic, same result. When its on, and the ABs spin it, they look dangerous, and make about 40/50 metres everytime, the problem is, the get turned over at the end of it, and the Boks ended up with the ball on the halfway. If they played it down the other end, then decided to run, even if they got turned over, they would be deep in Bok territory. The players are good enough, they are just playing some of the dumbest rugby I have ever seen by an International team. That’s what makes it so frustrating

    Overall 3/10

    9 Pietman

  • 14

Hellooooooooooooooooo BruVVas……. hoe lyk dit ?

  • 15

    14

  • 16

Well done to the Srpingboks AGAIN !!
What a fantastic result……….and I missed all of it, at the wettest wedding I have EVER been too!
Great result…..Bet the Aussies are shaking in their boots!!

  • 17

    Hey Carol,
England test also rained out yesterday, you guys are giving the Aussies a hard time. I love it, hope your team take the Ashes. End of the year we will be at loggerheads when England tours SA.

If Aus lose to you they might slip down below India and even stand a chance of going to fourth spot, with England and SA playing for top spot. I will check the scenarios but it would be awesome to play you guys for the World crown.

  • 18

    16 – Carol,

Hello and Yip…. Ozzmob must be thinking…. this is going to be rather tough !

I see in the SA Newspaper, Rapport, that Robbie Deans (The Ozzie coach) has not arrived in SA yet due to his father’s death…

So that certainly has to put further doubt in the Ozzie minds !!

  • 19

    17 – SuperBul,

Ek het jou Morne Fotos Artikel so bietjie ge-Edit… al die foto’s was bo-oor mekaar gewees… en daar was ook nie ‘n Titel nie….

  • 20

#17 Hi Superbul, that could be wishful thinking, however we can dream!
They have just started play again….beautiful day today. for cricket

#18 Hi Lekker Broer, those Aussies can start to sweat….That was a great result yesterday, you must have really enjoyed watching The Bulle Boy winning it for S.A !!

Taking Nephew out to lunch now, hope to catch you thie evening perhaps. Have a great day!

  • 21

I see that Australia is hoping and sort of warning us that they would be highly motivated to play for their coach in memory of his dad, remember the Brumbies did it successful for Shaun McCay. I wonder if they can handle the heat, there is far to many star players in hot form now in the Springbok team.

  • 22

Ek gee vir ou Mossie 10 uit 10.

  • 23

    Mossie was baie goed

Mechanic tel nie as WP.
Jacobs vandag weer beter as JdV?

  • 25

Jean de Villiers is nie n springbok se agterent nie.

  • 26

25# Soos Spuitnaald Spies? En Chilli?

  • 27

26# Nee, soos Schalk Burger en Ricky Januwarie

  • 28

  • 29
