Anybody got a thought on the Sharks game tomorrow, is it just me or do those Griquas have good ball handleing skills. Am not confident about the game.
Least i can relax and enjoy NZ/AUS game. Will be supporting the shackledraggers even thou i detest them cause it will be good for us.

Ons was moeg vir al die politiek en rassisme daar. Ons stem bitter min saam hier…hehehe…maar dis alles minstens in goeie gees!
Die Bulle: Ja, n mens kan duidelik sien dis n jongspan, maar dis goed so. Die ouens gaan oor n jaar of twee baie beteken. Jy kan sien die jonges neem nog verkeerde opsies soos toe Dippenaar met n 3 man overlap nie uitgegee het nie. Net 3 spelers in die beginspan was ouer as 25 egter. Hougaard, Potties en Francis het vir my uitgestaan – ek het vroeer so ook gese gedruende die wedstryd. Die losvoorspelers het baie balle op die grond gesteel.
Se baie groete vir Phoebe en se ek wag dat sy kom inloer!

I think the Sharks will take it. But it will be close. Griquas boat might have turned the wrong way after last week. Deysel and Kanko at loosie is the difference imo.

738 @grootblousmile – don’t even mention the cold in winter!If you take care and trhow fashion out the window you’ll be fine…. it doesn’t get really cold until mid December through early March. Funny thing is I find a highveld winter colder than a prairie one because here everything is insulated for the cold. it is fun to toss a boiling cup of water in the air and have it turn to ice crystals before it lands on the ground!

@grootes -733 , So 3 jaar terug was ek op n game lodge hier , Tshukudu, en daar was n ou en sy vrou saam ons van daai wereld, bietjie hoer op Alaska , jis maar die arme vrou was amper deurskynend, geen son vir 6 maande nie. Maar hulle het my laat gaan na webblaaie van daai wereld, jis dis mooi tonele daar.

Yes, I rate Kanko, but not ahead of Spies. They are the same type of player. Quick, strong and they move around the field quickly and loves an open game. Spies is just quicker, stronger and moves better around the field imo. He is better in the line-outs as well.
Then you get other good no 8’s like Vermeulen and Alberts. They are more the strong ball carrying type and provides more grunt than Spies and Kanko, and always pull two of three defenders with them over the advantage line. They also win the collisions often.
In our current set-up I prefer Spies, but I am also a Bull supporter, so I quess that plays a role. He is very quick to get back when a ball gets kicked through, and saves alot of tries when our defence is breached. He is as quick as the backs to get back and save the day. He also steals line-outs the best of all our 8’s. He needs work on his defence and ball skills behind the scrums.But thats just my opinion. The other province will probably not agree!
